Specifically, many believe her to be perpetuating fraud by demanding money from her followers in exchange for specific acts of prosperity provided by God (and even to ask God to smite your enemies). This differs from traditional tithing which typically is used for salaries, services (keeping the lights on), and community outreach.
Why evangelicals can’t point to her malfeasance as evidence of Trump’s corruption is a mystery to me. Additionally many conservative Christians don’t believe women should be in a position of authority, citing the same scripture she is here as evidence.
