The FDR paradigm lasted 50 years until Reagan. The Hitler comparison doesn’t make sense in context given that it wasn’t a coalition in the way Bannin describes and didn’t last that long. Whereas the FDR coalition encompassed Northern liberals and Southern conservatives and controlled congress from 1932 to the 1994 mid term elections.

I like the Spotify connect feature too. I think there are snaps or flatpaks that wrap the Apple Music web page into an application icon. A desktop app is really mostly relevant if you’re using the app to manage local music files. That said the Spotify connect feature is incredibly useful.

Then came the reports that bullet casings bearing the words “delay,” “deny” and “depose” were found at the scene. “Delay” and “deny” clearly echo tactics insurers use to avoid paying claims. “Depose”? Well, that’s the sudden, forceful removal from a high position. Ah.

XZ is quite slow for compression when single threaded. When run in parallel it uses a significant amount of RAM. It creates some of the smallest files and is fast to decompress compared to other well-compressed alternatives.

It just lets you opt to see the folder size as an attribute in list view the same as you can a file in Windows or Linux. It’s more or less the same info as disk usage analyzer but without the flower and displayed inline which is useful and convenient.
“Show all folder sizes” is MacOS’ greatest innovation IMO. Honorable mention to Messages app.

I am convinced it’s the acceleration. Also because you have that ability, it influences you to take risks in traffic (eg.
