How many drinks are you having that it’s an issue? How late are trivia nights running?

I’ve not been to one in a long time but I’d probably have two pints and be done before nine. That might not be accurate, it’s been fifteen years, but that’s what I recall.

That’s why you go to a pub that does trivia on a Wednesday instead… /s

But on a serious note, I just drink until I know 'hey, one more drink and I won’t be happy tomorrow. And if I am still over, I just make sure to stop by the 24 hour store for Powerade, red bull, and iced tea (or I guess, your absolute favlure drink to cheer you up.) Of the 5 or so hang over mornings, I’ve only been caught once by reception because I ordered 3+ hash browns for a delivery time of the time I get to work

Yeah just be hung over at work. How is this even a question. Would you rather be hung over on Saturday when it’s wasting YOUR time?

As a contractor, yeah… your performance is key for every job, that doesn’t work for the majority of people.

Not gonna be kept on or continue getting jobs if you can’t lay a straight line of tile or gotta go hide from the sound of the saw.

Where I host trivia you can have a decent time for two hours with $20.

The way ours works is that it’s free for the players and the bar pays the company I work for, so if you drink or not doesn’t matter to me.

I feel like 8pm isn’t that late, no? I mean, I don’t drink, but I think most people in my city straight up don’t have dinner until about 8 cuz of work.

Being young helps. When I was in my twenties, I could do stuff like that (within limits) and still be somewhat functional the next day. These days it’s just not an option.

I remember taking an exam on 4 hours of sleep and acing it. Today, if I get any less than 6 hours I barely remember my own name. At 7 I am functional, at 8 at peak productivity

The dogs woke me up twice last night to potty due to upset tummies from a transient virus or whatever, so I got like 2 bouts of 2 hours of sleep max. I literally couldn’t remember my home address as I was drinking my first cup of coffee trying to get my day started with ordering stuff online.

I just had a baby, I am now very familiar with sleep deprivation and when it sets in! After a week of the baby waking me up every 2-3 hours, I literally couldn’t grocery shop. I was staring at the produce, then at my list, and neither made sense in my brain. I ended up buying random stuff because I knew we needed food, and somehow made it work until I could sleep a bit longer

I recently took my bike to a party. Tried some new liquors beyond my means.

I ended up walking my bike home, which was long but not impossible. It sucked that most Ubers can’t stow a bike, not quite sure how else I might’ve handled it.
