Binary patching has been a thing in the emulator/rom scene for as long as I can remember precisely because it’s a means to distribute mods without distributing IP the modder doesn’t own. Some of the takes here are absolutely wacko.

It’s clearly code!

The thing is just about every single diet drug to date has had much worse complications. Like destroying hearts, blood vessels, anal leakage. Losing weight the old school way is the best way of it’s possible.

I wasn’t sure if they sold them in the US. Nice, reliable decent cars, usually had a bonkers edition too like the RS or ST lines. Depressing, I’m in the market for what is functionally a Mondeo (Fusion) estate and there’s absolutely nothing that fits the bill as well as it would have.

In the US for sure, in Europe Focus/Fiesta/Mondeo were everywhere. I’d have thrown money at them if they still made a Mondeo estate, as it stands it’ll be VAG because that’s what exists.
Obligatory, my plumbing is older than your country.
I’m genuinely curious, I’ve never really used any launcher other than steam (it’s not blind loyalty, my steam lib is just bigger than I’m ever likely to play already and my gaming heyday came before launchers).
Steam on the surface of it doesn’t seem like an inordinately complex piece of software compared to say, a game or package manager etc. What is it that makes other launchers so shit?

A Dutch guy mentioned it to me a few years back how far the brand has fallen, reminds me a bit of GE in the US. It’s kinda sad. The really crazy thing is a few of the investments they made and dumped have gone on to be key players in tech, like ASML.

Haven’t Philips enshittified almost entirely outside of healthcare products? Everything else is licensing the brand.

Honestly, I don’t find it a ton of fun. I use mine so occasionally, you kind of forget how little post processing you do on an FDM print for the most part. Though I definitely see the advantage for minis especially if you’re going to paint it afterwards.

I’m thanking my lucky stars I’ve newer really gotten along great with resin printing 😂

Oh look, you just bought your way into a 3D printing hobby

I’m beginning to wonder if AI is actually going to set us back technologically. Certainly it seems to be creating or widening a technology divide.

She’s not using it for porn (that I’m aware of) but my wife got a Chromebook with her last phone. Handy enough little thing.

I think I like Katherine 😂

Yeah, I should’ve been more clear in my original post - I was trying to convey why investors would like him and just ignored the profit bit.

I’m not sure what your point is, the investors care about the stock price because that’s their money in/money out. Lower profit could be fine if they’re, say, investing 150Bn/yr into a new venture that stands to be profitable in the future (may even drive the stock price up). It’s vibes based to a degree, quite a bit of analysis goes into a company’s performance as well.
FWIW their gross profit is also up more than 3x in the same time frame.
10 with a giant central screen is fairly norm now too.
