That’s what they do in a few countries. It works, lol.
Shitposter while I tend to two babies. Maybe when I have my life back, I’ll help us get a few more niche communities back?
That’s what they do in a few countries. It works, lol.
My worst offender would be the Neptunia games I’ve played (which I genuinely liked for gameplay lol) but honestly, if your gaming family can’t accept you at your Nep, they don’t deserve you at your NepNep.
I was thinking about this the other day when they mentioned just how rich billionaires are. It’ll never happen, but if governments of the world wanted to could they just seize all of Musks or Bezos’ assets? It’s all made up anyway, right?
Everything pork belly is good, of course (although nothing beats my inlaws’ homemade pork belly). Okinawa cuisine is inspired largely by Chinese cuisine, so that sets it apart from the main island-- pork being the big thing. There’s also US military influence so you get some interesting hybrids like Taco Rice, or Spam and Bittermelon (Okinawa has it’s own type that’s different than the Chinese kind).
Sweets, hard to say. Purple yam is their specialty crop but it’s more novel then anything. I’m more partial to the milk flavor, which the small town of Nanjo is known for (although I wouldn’t go just for that). I have found very rich brown sugar and fresh pineapple to be very good, too, I think grown locally.
Hope that helps, as always quality varies place to place and usually the best places are off the usual tourist areas.
Edit: oh I also just remembered a place that has a deep fryer in the middle of the table and it’s like Korean BBQ but with a deep fryer. Now that was a unique experience, lol.
Oh snap, that looks lovely. I’m in Okinawa for the holidays myself, this might give me some ideas.
So… A regular Assassins Creed game. Mind, I stopped at Rogue.
Tbh, this isn’t a terrible idea for people who tend to use a guide anyway? Depending on how perfectionist I feel, that’s sometimes me (but the ideal game doesn’t lock you out of content over a joke answer in a random dialog).
I think if Bernie suggested murdering all the CEOs he’d get banned from his communities, though.
To be fair, I’m snarky because plenty of colleges (and way too many high schools) still do this shit because it’s not about the knowledge, it’s about the signalling to employers that the student will make a good cog in their machine.
To anyone struggling in a stats course: real data science is programming, not math. If you’re on Lemmy there is a good chance you’re a better data scientist than your hack of a teacher.
If you’re in a college statistics course and you’re doing graphs by hand and not generated entirely be statistics software, the skills you’re learning are useless anyway.
Assuming it’s a correction line, I don’t think you can tell from the slope of that line alone as the clustering will matter and correlations are finicky. Now, if it was a regression coefficient, that sexy line can be calculated just by looking at it (although we’d want to know if it was significant, lol).
Yeah that’s my fear of what will happen if I get a bunch of tests done. This cough is awful but nothing mysterious, I just think my kids are just getting me sick repeatedly but only showing mostly minimal signs (except pneumonia my daughter had that we did successfully got treated since our pediatrics are OK).
But I can’t ever know for certain because it’s just expensive and inconvenient to check, and at the end of the day it’s likely “oh, looks like you had RSV followed by COVID followed by the Flu, each a week before their respective vaccines were available this year and within days of each other. Womp womp.”
That is promising news, at least. Thanks
You know what’d be more dangerous would be to spread 3D printing info and other useful tips we as a society may have learned from this whole manhunt info dump. Just saying, of course (I don’t even own a 3d printer, officer!)
Imma be honest, between this and the CEO killing we’ve only really had two pieces of good news all fucking year and the same dipshits ruining everything are ruining this too. This plus being nonstop sick since August with several colds is really making 2024 the shittiest year (so far).
Can someone at least give us a piece of good news before the end of the year? Maybe something that tops both?
1, 2, 4, 8 and 16.25 unless I’m somehow miscounting due to jetlag…
I think part of the problem with that argument is that only a small percentage of Dems want real coverage and the rest want status quo insurance crap- and this coming from someone who did vote.
I still remember when ACA happened. The smart people who wanted single payer or similar were shunned out the room. If I was a slightly stupider or slightly more vengeful men, I too might have gotten disengaged from the political system.
Oi, apparently our guy has severe back pain from a shitty surgery. That means the guy with enough backbone to kill a CEO literally had a bad backbone.
Feels like an inspirational poster waiting to happen.
Absolutely a double standard but an easy to imagine one. I was just thinking how the right used GoFundMe for that racist prick Rittenhouse (among others).
Can we just have our class warfare already? It’s ok to kill black folks not heaven forbid you actually eat the rich.
You know, is said he worked UI at Firaxia from '15 to '17, which first made me think he worked on Civ VI, but then more likely Xcom Chimera Squad?
You don’t get that job without having some interest in games. I hope it turns out he actually played Assassin’s Creed and is intentionally pulling an Ezio look, smile and all.
I think now they give you those paper plates? Not ideal, but I see them a lot, flapping in the winds.
