Well, it turned out the backup process got stuck on a lock file in July, 2021. And the email process that should have notified me was broken too. I was so happy I didn’t find this out in an emergency and spent more time testing the email notification this time.

Exactly! I did tours through a cathedral, where we went inside the roof or behind the iron curtain of an opera. In any city, there are loads of these tours.
I don’t know about the US, but here in Germany covid is just part of life now, like the flu. My neighbor is an intensive care nurse and she says there are no covid patients anymore or if there are, they’re on the same level as influenca.

Just because other things are worse doesn’t mean cannabis is good. It’s definitely better in comparison, but it’s still a far cry from being harmless. That’s all I’m saying. I’d argue it should be treated similarly to alcohol, in that you’re not allowed to get it as a minor. And THC content should be better regulated, like alcohol content somewhat is. More THC only for adults, for example. It’s idiotic to demonize cannabis, especially with alcohol being such a big part of everyday life for so many people. But that doesn’t mean it’s fine for everybody to consume THC like it’s nothing.
I haven’t heard it since I left elementary school. I only realized later that there were some really racist kids on that school. Also, it was the 80s. It’s shocking to me now that I learnt basically all the racist and antisemitic jokes I know during my time at elementary school.

All I see here is the common kneejerk reaction to anything remotely criticizing marijuana. Elton John is a dry alcoholic and has been supporting other people with substance abuse issues for many years now. To him trivialization of any sort of drug use is negative. Calling it “the greatest mistake” is just some hyperbole to highlight the issue he sees. And he’s not wrong in that there are many people, like in this comment section, who act as if there are no negative side effects to consuming cannabis. That is not only wrong but dangerous, because it is a drug and like all drugs it has its downsides that people need to be aware of. Still, personally I think decriminalization was the right thing. But stop acting like cannabis can do no evil.

Is there maybe a generational gap? I am older and I very, very rarely watch videos. Maybe when I am totally stuck in a game will I watch a walkthrough. But just watching other people play is something my kids and their friends do. I think games just caught up to sports, where most fans spend more time watching than playing as well.

I enjoyed every Dragon-age game so far and Veilguard is no exception. I think the writing is fine. Not great, but good enough. I can see why some people would complain, because it’s definitely watered down compared to DA:O. But I am still having fun almost 60 hours into the game.
