As much as I sympathize, that doesn’t automatically mean (perceived) expensive EVs are the issue, though.
PS the average new car is $47k. Please tell me how that $55k EV with the $7.5k tax rebate is expensive?

You’re right, I am. Thanks, friend. :D

On topic, I agree with you. Really like the community here and exciting to see it continue to grow.
If everyone could get easy, cheap car insurance outside of their home state or region, don’t you think it would be a widespread phenomena already?
It’s not very common, I’d just like to point that out.
They can restrict the sale and the registration (license plate/tabs) of new gas cars within the state. Someone can still go to another state to buy one, but they can’t get a CA plate for it. And that’s on top of trying to figure it how to get insurance coverage for it.

Ain’t getting a sweetheart deal this time, though. Hope the EU holds their feet to the fire if they try to rejoin.
For about six weeks.
Doesn’t look like the guy in the photos. That guy had a coat on. Not guilty.
Somebody deepfake and broadcast this for the next State of the Union. Please.
I suspect many orgs were waiting to see if Microsoft blinked and pushed the date. Now with only 10 months to go to Win10 EoL, they don’t have a choice anymore.
Truly, the king of efficiency. Dumbass.
Bonus: you get to visit the OceanGate Titan, too!
I used to have a microwave that the popcorn button worked perfectly in and it was amazing.
After it died we replaced it with the same make and model and the new one’s popcorn button is crap. I’ve now timed how long the bags need to be in, so I just put that in instead. Never use the popcorn button anymore. It’s annoying but effectively it just is two extra buttons before starting so it’s not horrible.
Although now I have one of those electric kettle popcorn makers like the movie theater and pretty much only use that now. But it definitely can’t match microwave popcorn for convenience.
Used to be on an odd schedule when I worked overnight.
My work shifts were Thursday to Saturday, 1800 - 0500. So Sunday, when I got off at 0500, I’d stay awake until around 1900 (being up for ~26 hours) and then to go bed. Wake up Monday morning and have a normal Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, then stay up all night Wednesday night until Thursday morning (another 26 hour stint) and the go to bed Thursday morning so I could then go to work at 1800 Thursday night again.
Did that for about a year and it actually worked out reasonably well, but not something I’d entertain now that I’m older.
That schedule is also the reason all my clocks are always set for 24-hour time and I can still fall asleep in broad daylight without any trouble.
Some in one bucket, most in the other.
My human,
Why should those through whom we speak or communicate also the managers and enforcers of said speech?
As we’ve seen with Reddit and others, your content and history are already cataloged. Are you sure the thing you say today won’t be used against you tomorrow?
There are already mechanisms to deal with illegal activity online.
Privacy to live one’s life and express one’s opinions without fear of retaliation, reprisal, or identification is one of, if not the most important things we have as individual citizens. Do not ever, ever, ever give it up without a fight.
