  • Your post contents themselves deserve a response, but to answer the question: I’ve never bothered thinking life is unfair, I learned this lesson early on as an eldest sibling (and it seems like a lot of other eldest siblings I talk to are slightly more in tune with unfairness than non eldest siblings, but this is anecdotal and I’m not willing to defend this observation)

Life is obviously filled with things that feel fair and unfair, but ultimately fairness is not part of the rules of our reality so there’s no need to determine its presence or abscence.

To speak to your own response, it’s super easy and feels great to imagine those who we feel have wronged us have been suffering ever since we left their lives. Rarely does this ever actually play out that way, nor is it healthy to rely on this line of thinking to find closure, peace, satisfaction, etc. It is more realistic to expect their lives to be fulfilling their goals on some level, and its likely they aren’t miserable at all.

I have no idea what you’re saying after the first section, but there are people out there all along the “is okay with a non ideal partner” scale out there. You can have your flaws and have a partner and a healthy relationship, and anyone worth your time will consider any progress you have already made, even if that’s not always enough to make you the one they want to be with.

I don’t want to make any further statements as this is already too general and assumption heavy, and you do not deserve to be told what to do without an ounce of actual attention to your life. I can guaranteo you’re not alone in the problems you are facing.

I’ve always found riding the waves of life with attention to my goals has worked in a way that leaves me generally satisfied with the process.

  • Some potential reasons:

    1. This was taken with Windows’s snipping tool. If you click on the image, it draws. AFAIK the default color is red.

    2. This was screenshotted on android, and cropped later. They accidentally drew on it when trying to manipulate the image.

There are other good reasons, but if it was engagement bait, oh well…

  • We are our brain activity and once that’s gone for good all that’s left is the biological machine that we live within.

A heart will beat as long as it doesn’t die or otherwise suffer some other structural failure. They attach brain dead patients to a ventilator to continue respiration to keep the now-vacant body alive. It’s a shame someone severely fucked up and compromised the safety and trust of the process in this case but don’t let this confuse you into thinking there’s no basis for the transplant to occur in the presence of a heartbeat.

  • oh so now we’re right back around at time zones again, wonderful.

except now it’s even more fun because there is zero standardization at all, but users are still going to expect for their computing devices to tell them a time that makes sense. Ah, but culture X thinks the day starts “6 hours before sunrise” and culture Y is more “the day starts when the sun is halfway between sunset and sunrise” and culture Z thinks something even more insane. Oops, now we’ve got locale-based time zones. Locale awareness is honestly even worse than time zones because its just so damn unexpected at times. My own computer has a horrifying mix of US and Europe locale settings, and that is already crazy enough.

stupid people will always think everything is just so simple.

I can fall asleep physically while remaining awake mentally with relative ease, I’ve never had the entry paralysis ever associated with the typical exit paralysis sleep demons.

The worst that happens is my brain is just incredibly disoriented when I open my eyes after it thinks Im asleep. The paralysis is pretty fun actually, sometimes it can be a real challenge to break.
