Along similar lines, we used to love watching Ghost Adventures (we call it Douche Adventures). We used to watch it without fail. Much less often nowadays, but we still enjoy it.

7 years, but that’s because I tried to let it flower on its own. I got tired of waiting and made it flower using a calcium carbide tablet. Two years in a row I’ve used calcium carbide and it’s worked well for me.

I’d wait til your plant is established and strong before trying to induce it to flower. Give it at least 2 years. Hope your third try is a charm!

Curious as to how y’all feel about Bernie Sanders. Myself and many others love him, he advocates for the working class and denounces billionaires, but he’s a politician. He is rich (net worth ~3 million) - IIRC he mostly earned this through book sales, but he can’t have been able to do this if he wasn’t a famous politician. I personally feel like he’s a rare exception, but wondering how others feel.
