Can’t do it to help Americans or Ukraine…

But funding a genocide committed by a country Biden has spent over 50 years saying he’ll never stop supporting them no matter what they do?

Suddenly a US president can do things on their own.

But I know moderates will make up some excuse for Biden, they use the same rationalizing behavior as Republicans. Lack of logical consistency isn’t a deal breaker for either of them

Fuck Biden and the IDF, but there is a big difference between aid and sale. This one’s a case of profiteering.

      Precisely.

Any group you don’t belong to is irrational and devoid of any logic whatsoever, not to mention WRONG.

Pesky moderates, they are insane just like the extremist, everybody is 100% a basket case except for me and you.

        Nah, it’s actually pretty simple.

        Logical consistency - good

Defending someone no matter what they do because they’re on you’re “team” - bad

Does it make sense to you now?

It also seems like you’ve fallen into the trap of thinking the best position is always “in the middle” because you think a compromise is good just for the sake of compromise.

Like, do you think Jeffery Dahmer would have been all right if he only killed half the people he wanted to?

No shit logical consistency is good and irrational behaviour is bad. Glad we agree.

The thing is, who’s the judge on who is irrational and who is logic? It’s such a polarised society that we live in nowadays, whoever you ask will say that their faction is the only logical one while the “other” is a bunch of marauding orcs.

Now this guy I replied to went and did the same trite “us logic, them stupid” take, accusing moderate people of some bad stuff as if that word meant anything, as if there was a “moderate” party that did anything concrete

Not just that, when polarisation is gutting our democracy, this guy attacks moderates as if extremism was the only orthodoxy. Loony bin material.

Far from me to be a both-side-er, I have my firm and very partisan convictions - but that has nothing to do with how silly the comment I replied to was.

Do you not know I’m the same person?

Or were you attempting to phrase those personal insults in a way that wouldn’t violate the rules by using bad grammar?

I can’t see the whole thread while replying so I can’t assume I’m talking to the same person as the time before, hence the third person. If that was always you then feel free to replace it with a second, as it was meant to be.

There were no personal insults. Your post was silly. You may be a very nice person and probably very smart as well, but your post was still silly. There, second person used.

What you said made zero sense, had no connection to reality, and was strongly reinforcing the cancer of contemporary democracy that is polarisation. Your content - not you - is very very bad.

There is nothing wrong with it, everybody says stupid stuff from time to time - I do it too according to the amount of downvotes I got - but I take none of the disagreements with my contents as attacks on my person. I would encourage you to do the same.

I wish we could get the 49% that vote Democrat no matter what to consider this and vote Green instead.

There’s nothing moderate about making hundreds of billions, on top of the trillion you already budgeted, appear out of thin air for more war and just completely ignoring the people you’re expecting to vote to reelect you.

Can’t do it to help Americans or Ukraine…

Americans aren’t even in their thought process. The US has just given Ukraine more than 200 billion.

Try getting a few bucks to help with your doubled or tripled grocery bills and Biden will laugh in your face while trying in vain to construct a coherent sentence.

I feel like your stake in this is more about Biden and running him down instead of the support that Ukraine needs.

Fuck israel and fuck hamas, they are both guilty of killing innocents and the sooner they both collapse, and are replaced by people who care more about peace than power, the better off we all are

The worst thing about criticizing Biden or the Israeli government is the type of people who start agreeing with you…

Doesn’t mean we can’t criticize them, just sucks that it happens.

I feel like Biden deserves legit criticism for making money appear out of thin air for war but not for Americans who are struggling in a shitty economy that doesn’t support their basic needs.

That’s because your grocery bill is the result of the FREE MARKET™, which automatically means it is the correct price. And if it’s not the correct price, it will be once INVISIBLE HAND™ lays it’s sacred touch upon them, which will be very soon. And if it isn’t very soon its only because not enough HARD WORKING ENTREPRENEURS™ have realized the AMERICAN DREAM™ and how very dare you question the process you COMMIE PINKO™

Government intervention is only for NATIONAL INTERESTS™ and the nation is not interested in your grocery bill, peasant! I hope Satan brought you some Ayn Rand books for Christmas!!

Seriously, though: even if he wanted to, Biden could not change the laissez-faire capitalist dumpster fire sold to America by economic witch doctors like Milton Friedman and Alan Greenspan. The resulting class system is too entrenched. The most realistic solution to me seems to be to partition the country, like India. But instead of Hindus and Muslims, you’ll partition along the lines of anarcho-capitalists and people who aren’t in a death cult.

Apologies to real witch doctors everywhere.
