Sometimes. It’s an intriguing idea, but do I believe it?
No. To me it seems more reasonable that the universe is infinite and our planet is one of the rare successes where all of the variables came together precisely to create life. I’m certain there are others out there, but also so rare and remote that we’ll almost certainly never become aware of one another.
we didn’t invade the country
Not yet. I’m hoping Trump will prevent that step in the process.
B–b–b–bingo!
Yes, they did.
Their preferred news networks assured them of that, just like they assure us that we’re helping Ukraine.

I suppose they all just slept through Iraq and Afghanistan, but it’s common historical practice for the US to install puppets and meddle in the destinies of countries we’re supposedly helping.

It’s terribly ironic to watch people who support US interventionism pretend that Ukraine gets to have any real say in their own destiny at this point. Hundreds of billions of US taxpayer dollars do not go into your coffers without strings.
Dunno, just make sure your stop-loss orders are set so you don’t get burned when the dip comes.
My favorite thing about social media is people who argue for no good reason other than to entertain themselves.
NGL, I was choked up in my car when I was lined up for my very first COVID jab.
Honestly thought it was over, and the events since have informed much of my cynicism about our species.

Not centrist: conservative. Liberals only invented that label so they could call themselves something other than conservative.
It’s nice to see that at least somewhere on this planet people are willing to view Israel’s genocide with some measure of objectivity.
More proof, to me at least, that there is no god out there.
Go try to eff with a goose if you think you’re so tough.
Absolutely.
Here in America it’s common practice for political candidates to loan their campaigns money at 20% interest and just pocket their contributors’ donations, and it’s legal. It’s also legal for legislators to insider-trade on investments using the classified information they learn as part of their positions. On top of all that, you have the widespread bribery workaround that Trump loves: people buying your books or staying at your hotels en masse, and overpaying, so that when they call you with a favor they get exactly what they want.
Democrats and Republicans both enjoy these privileges, and have even sued up to SCOTUS to keep them.
Science: because prayer doesn’t work.
When the voters decided that a functioning brain was no longer a requirement to be president, I feel like this kind of stuff was inevitable.
Well, that’s good news.
Definitely didn’t need that 571 million here in the US for anything.
