Last one of the night. This is a blessed song, from a blessed musical which sits in my top 5. Because this movie is perfectly imperfect (See what I did there? Snuck in another musical. Muwahaha!) and very much worth your time if you’re open to surreal low(er)-budget weirdness. And if you decide to watch this, why not make it a double feature with Kikujiro? Or the original movie, The Quiet Family. Both with great soundtracks as well (among other things, they’re all great flicks).
I just want to bump this as this is one of the funniest films I’ve seen in my life. Try and watch it with others who appreciate surreal weird films. Absolutely sublime.

Hey! You’re the Animal Crossing person! I saw that post before I went to bed, but I wanted to sleep early so I took my asssss to beddddd! If you’re a lover of things left of center do you have any other recommendations? Also, if you haven’t seen Kikujiro btw, you should give it a go if you have the time. It’s also one of my favorite films and it’s a really sweet and surreal slice of life coming-of-age dude-bro movie =)! Also another scenario of a gangster infused individual who makes something lighthearted and sweet.
