They forgot blaming the people who warned of the disaster in the first place.
Not everyone ignores the problem. Some will actively make it worse just to stick it to the people warning about the problem.
Nobody mentioned shifting the cost to tax payers.
We often say we’re waiting for the horse to bolt so we finally have permission to close the barn door.
