Yeah if you’re exposed to cold weather then ski goggles tend to handle not fogging up with a scarf/mask better. You can get some pairs with clear, swapable lenses for biking at night.

The grapes aren’t doing anything new, they’re acting as a microwave resonator which makes some very interesting plasma physics you can do with a grape in the microwave. However, this is not a new phenomenon and there are much more convenient microwave resonators you can build out of metal.

171·2 years agoThis is similarly true to a container of gasoline. The difficult part is we’ve yet to find a battery tech that comes even close to the same energy density. Gasoline has nearly 12000 Wh/kg, compared to the 200-500 mentioned in the article.


Depending on where you’re coming from, you might have a different idea of what friendly is. While nearly all Canadians will treat any foreigners with kindness and respect, we don’t tend to go out of our way to talk to and be hospitable towards strangers as much as people in a lot of other countries do. Especially in big cities.
