I like to think of it as the boomers have reverse mortgaged the country.
The amount of corporate environments running old builds, 3+ patches behind or pro/home versions would shock anybody with an inkling of security awareness.
If you’re going to run Windows as a business and especially if you’re going to rely on Defender, you gotta be on top of shit. Most are woefully far outside of that
They’re not withholding, this is a normal lifecycle for their OS’es (technically this one is already an extended deadline due to covid). The fact that Win10 had a 10 year life is the first time they have done so (LTS builds not withstanding). The amount of vulnerabilities and patching necessary to keep that husk going isn’t worth the squeeze to them.
Even Linux builds are lucky to reach 10 years of support on a given kernel.
The OS being unsupported is a terrible idea. Especially is you’re relying on Defender for EDR… either switch OS’es or upgrade. There is no sense in running vulnerable devices. You’re only creating more attack surfaces. I sympathize with the user that can’t afford an upgrade, but they gotta aware and accountable of the consequence. Arch, btw
Totally recommend checking this out as well! tapeworm - vacant
Can confirm, I have an EV for daily use and a F150 platinum for towing a 8.5k trailer, project work for my house, band equipment, etc… The trim package is where a lot of that extra cost goes (didnt really need heated, massage seats but we have a family member that was our sales guy and it was used so waaaaaaay less than MSRP). It is surprisingly fuel efficient when my partner is out of town and I need to run errands. I also live in a rather rural area so I’m not generally clogging up the roads. Also make it a conscious effort to park way out in the back 40 so I’m not creating a shit show for other drivers in the parking lot. The bonus is, that’s usually where the cart returns are so its less steps to get them back to the store!
Additional note, it’s completely stock aside from a good tonneau cover and some roof racks for kayaks. Lifted pavement princess rides gross me out.
Heck yeah! Stoked to see Josh’s standup getting posted here. He’s easily my favorite comedian right now and relentlessly release’s material every week that is fantastic.
Highly recommend folks check his channel out.
Oh absolutely! The cast is perfect for what the movie ultimately is. Even Wahlberg is good despite just being himself.
I wish I had more people in real life that found “taste the golden spray” and “straight jacking” as funny as I do though.
I have spent the past several years convinced I was the only person who had seen this. In the theaters the first time no less.
This may help hold you over if the 3rd never arrives.
I’d argue MK Annihilation as an alternate. The first was at least mildly passable.
I’m gonna channel my inner teenager and say Sobe Red Tea and the Jet Moto series of video games.
Both were staples of the 90’s for me.
Intel U7 and 11 Home?!
Hell yeah, I’ve never been more disinterested in what will surely be a trash experience!
Did you just see my neighbors driveway through their ring camera?!
I love the idea of someone being brought up for tax evasion charges because they were only claiming a blowjob rate when they were doing anal.
This could be the most interesting audit in the history of the IRS.
I’ll take that perspective! Cheers
Thank you to everyone in this thread who made me feel part of a community of my peers online for the first time, in a long time.
Every plumbing project (even yesterdays quick upgrade of the kitchen faucet) is at least a 2 tripper. Each time I finish one I swear I’m never moving again. Then, 5 years later, I’m fixing the previous owners mishaps “one last time”.
To all the people who’ve bought houses I lived in, I’m sorry for all of the " what was that idiot thinking" moments I’ve caused you. Ha
Sigh, have a nice day.
I haven’t driven the id.4, but our car has a visual indicator that shows the percentage of regenerative braking efficiency achieved when you at coming to a stop. Hitting 100% is significantly easier in my experience with my test sample of 1 vehicle using the single pedal option, like everything though, I’m sure it’s not the same across the board.
This looks great. Thanks for the link!
