Lean over and whisper in his ear, “everyone hates you.”

Something that would just…utterly fuck his brain for a while. If there was something that would motivate him into an Ebenezer scrooge character arc, I’d be so down.

If I had stealth techniques available to me, i would consider it.

  • Cigna dropped my medicine coverage. I had to to drop two name brands simultaneously to generic else i would be out 4k every 30 days.

    The switch was not pretty.
Like, mental breakdown, life changing, never-will-be-the-same not pretty.
That was…8 years ago. I imagine if it was something maintaining my physical health I certainly would have died. I mean, shit, I nearly did. Don’t get me started on the arm i broke as a kid, that didn’t heal correctly because a narcissist parent(RN) wanted to skip the er wait and had hospital buddies patch me up on the dl instead. A bionic arm sounds more feasible than actually getting it to where I could play strings again without pain.

  • Note #1: I named my dl folder Tarantino-bag-of-dicks

Note #2: Jackie brown dvd is niiiice.

    1. Grindhouse planet terror isn’t directly Tarantino but I liked it enough to mention it here (deathproof is meh comparitively imo)
    2. Jackie brown
    3. Kill bill 1 & 2
    4. Pulp fiction
    5. Hateful 8
    6. Once upon a time in Hollywood
    7. Django
    8. Inglorious bastards
    9. Reservoir dogs
    10. Death proof

For context, kill bill came out when I was in high school and I kinda loved the obnoxious jugular squirt he become known for +badass boss lady cast. Jackie brown is just that fucking good.

  • My boss checks in on me occasionally with directness, and did so the other day:

    “viva, how’s it going?”
“I want to fight Bill Gates.”

This is understood to mean, “windows is fucked. My computer is fucked. All of this massive, utterly brutal buttfucking inconvenience could have been avoided at some point, and now isn’t, because [our company] bought so hard into Microsoft’s “business solutions” that there’s no turning back, and because of the nuances of the problems you’ve asked me to solve, I am facing said brutal buttfucking inconvenience, and I’m mad about it.”

  • I think I love you. I feel like this would be exactly what would happen if I were in your situation.

We’re renting a house, because, well, reasons. We are looking, and it would be our first home, but the market and availability is bonkers here.

The tankless heater was manufactured before the house was even built and the gas lines are not large enough to accommodate to scale. If the bath’s running, pressure is shot. You’ll only get reasonably hot water one faucet/utility at a time. If you’re in the shower and another tap is called, you’re fucked. It’s horrendous.

Landlord got a quote about it (squirrel fan when we moved in screamed to hell so they called in service) and they’d have to run larger pipes when the time comes to replace it with new tankless.

The furnace did have a humidistat but the lines are gross and it’s some kind of broken. They recommended not replacing till the whole furnace goes too. Fun times right?

The list goes on but it’s not my circus, so i restrain myself to small tasks. At least our neighbors are cool. HOA blows though.

  • Fascinatingly enough, Samsung’s text from image produced this:

    G00 000 000

    Dear

    Thank you for your letter

    5 Park Road, Richmond, Surrey TW10 6NS 6.9.22

I am so glad you are interested in stick insects. Iam too and, when I was your age I also kept some. They are indeed fascinating.

There are at least two thousand five hundred different species world-wide. Most come from the tropics and only a few species ever reach this country. Scientifically speaking they belong to a group called the Phasmatoidea which contains two main groups - the leaf insects and the stick insects. Stick insects really do look exactly like thin green sticks and are almost impossible to spot in the wild - unless they move. They don’t, in fact, move much during the day but quite a lot during the night. The kind that is usually brought over here are nearly females and lay eggs that are fertile without having being fertilised by the male. The eggs look exactly like their droppings and sometimes people who keep them don’t know this and throw them away when they are cleaning out their cages.

The one of which you sent me a photograph, however is not, however a stick insect. It’s a leaf insect. There are many many different species of these as well, They vary in the food they prefer and many eat other kinds of leaves than the hawthorn and bramble which you say yours prefer. Many of them are even more like leaves than yours are, with outgrowths on their legs that look exactly like leaves. Wicle
