you can use nftables or ip route to route discord’s IP addresses through a different interface like a VPN, alternatively you could launch discord with proxychains, there’s many ways to do it

i’d recommend rewriting this in some other shell-friendly language that can do proper text and JSON munging, because this just looks like spaghetti.

because why not? it’s just characters and any UTF8 string is allowed as a filename so long as it doesn’t contain a null byte. people’s usecases are different, and you really shouldn’t be parsing ls output in the first place
