Nine Sols. Really underrated metroidvania that flew under the radar for many people.
Title is misleading as hell. They added the option to set it as the default. It is not the default for everyone moving forward.
Looks like Bloodborne 2 rumors are back on the menu, boys
Bold promises from a company that’s circling the drain and will probably start cancelling most of its projects
Smoking chicken here
The more the merrier. Last Epoch was also made by veterans of the genre from what I remember.
Neither of them are as good, especially if you factor in raytracing. DLSS Ray Reconstruction is basically required to not have a noisy image with RTX.
I haven’t played every generation but imo generation V (Pokemon Black/White) were the most interesting to me. It’s the sweet spot between the older clunkier games and the more modern ones.
TheGamer is well-known to be a trash drama-generating website.
It was banned by a few countries for looking like a gambling game which was a separate thing, now it’s just rated as an adult game by PEGI.
I would just take anything Megaman at this point. The series has been dormant for ages.
This issue would be solved / non existent if matchmaking was not the only option for playing online game
Games that have community hosted servers also needs anticheat. You can’t expect an admin to be around 24/7 to ban cheaters.
Someone discovered Dark Souls games had a RCE but they never responded to the person that kept emailing them about it for months. The security guy then started invading streamers and crashing the game while doing fun stuff like showing text on the screen. Only then did Fromsoft take down the servers and patch things up - which took a few months.
Yes, game companies really don’t take security seriously.
I tried the demo of Road to Vostok and it seems like a very good and in-depth survival game. Not out yet though.
Lemmy user try not to bring up capitalism in every thread challenge (LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!)
I loved nightmare grimm, but didn’t bother with the Godmaster stuff tbh. The boss rush was way too much for me.
Hollow Knight. Every time you think you’re nearing the end, there’s still a lot more. The true ending and optional DLCs add so much.
Their other games can be played either split screen or online, so yes
My big question is whether this can be played singleplayer or if it’s designed from the ground up to be multiplayer, since the trailer put a lot of focus on it being co-op. Man, I’m hyped either way!
It’s a fairly difficult game, yeah. The combat is more akin to Sekiro where you need to time your blocks.
