How are they achieving this? Something can’t be done with Lemmy due to load
That’s the part of joke
This guy said something photoshop related in German and I hope it is not a photoshop
If you keep avoiding “dead” communities, how will they ever be alive?
Giving a shout-out to communities where this more accurately belongs
Yeah all good I don’t want to suspect the dev either but since there are bunch of alternatives available, I’d opt for them than this one. I loved how Connect was the first one to try and implement the swipe between posts feature. Hope it keep doing well in the future.
That’s untrue I installed Connect and used it for 5min. Stayed only in app and didn’t click on any third-party article link, here is the result: 47 trackers in 5 mins
I will install Connect again and see if it still gets detected on DuckDuckGo having hidden trackers.
Is there a possibility that DuckDuckGo got it wrong? Or is the Meta already trying to track users from threads which is present on fediverse? Latter seems unlikely but who knows.
I was using Connect until I have found that there are trackers(via DuckDuckGo app) in it from Facebook. Trackers are common in apps, but if there are options available which give same experience without trackers, I will choose those options.
How did we land on different “sitting too long is bad” videos on the same day. I came across this animated video which showed which parts of the body gets stressed when we sit too long this morning.
We allow memes here?
Oh that’s why I keep getting “Too many requests error”
ah mb sorry
My brother you are kinda living under a rock. There have been widespread of websites/scripts to do this while the deadend(because we don’t know of what changes reddit would make of their api which may hamper the work of these services)of July 1st was approaching.
they also gave a link to where they could find their content reposted on Lemmy.
I wanted to do the same but I have heard that reddit is censoring any mention of fediverse or migration to kbin/lemmy and hence I just edited it out (with PowerDeleteSuite fork) to some copy pasta and deleted my comments.
I am kind of in the same boat as OP and I did come across Nextcloud. But how reliable is Nextcloud hosted by some other org/company/person? Aren’t we running away from a company hosting our data to another company hosting our data?
