Note to self. Do not move to Des Moines. I pay $60/mo for symmetrical gig (1000 Mbps) with no cap.
I simultaneously want to and don’t want to know what a “sexual odor of swine” smells like.
It’s like when your good buddy says “hey smell this”, you never know what you’re in for, but you’re intrigued.
That’s not an MS thing, that’s the way your admins configured it. There are methods for doing system wide, once every X hours authentication, but chances are they don’t know that or went overkill with the settings to “be more secure”
You either have to be trolling, or don’t understand the concept of an invasive species and the environmental impact it can cause.
Does anyone know if something changed with PH in Texas? It used to require a VPN and had a notification of the new Texas age verification law, but now I’m back to being able to browse it without a VPN.
Cave Johnson comes to mind…
That’s alright. Megacorp™, who incidentally also owns an insurance company, will buy it and gladly rent it to you.
That already exists with PayPal and Apple Pay for example. The remote site never sees your credit card, just an approval token. You won’t be able to get away from address though as they need to know how to get it to you.
security alarms and phone/internet lines
I like the hubris that if the world goes to shit and they have to hole up for months that they think telecommunications or security will still work how they expect it.
Only downside is I don’t care about time immemorial, I’m more interested in time I’m alive and stuck in it.
My concern is the application of it. They could see three people in a crowd wearing masks who are legitimately needing to wear a mask and then arrest them saying the crowd was an impromptu protest or illegal gathering and they can then apply that new law to them.
They’ll be AI upscale too.
Could always make it a Lifeinvader moment.
Though if Chernobyl is any indication in a few decades nature works its way around it.
To your latter question: yes especially in Japan. There are quite a few restaurants where they don’t allow foreigners (or anyone foreign looking) even if you’ve lived there for decades and speak fluently.
So “about 500ml” like OP stated
