  • I struggle with that same issue. I’ll risk nine out of 10 people suffer from it. There are only twenty four hours in a day.

In my understanding, that is not a good way to make better use of your time. I’m glad it works for you but makes no sense whatsoever.

If you do that for, to my understanding, speeding through dialogue heavy content, you’re essentially following podcasts. You can do many things while listening anything, at normal speeds.

  • The history of decapitation:

    • by elephant

Elephant stomps on the head of the person to be executed. Brutal, bloody, dirty. Applied to common criminals.

    • by the axe

Readilly available tool but a badly sharpened edge could lead to a very painful execution, requiring more than one strike. Quick, efficient, leaves a trophy for exhibition. Applied to common criminals.

    • by the sword

Extremely specialized means of execution. Blade needs to be sharpened to a very fine edge. Quick, clean, leaves a trophy. Reserved for nobles.

    • the guillotine

Requires specialized tool and setup to be produced. Difficult to move and assemble. Requires entire team for operation. Designed for long periods of operation with no maintenance. Quick, highly efficient, leaves trophy. Applied to all deemed fit to the capital punishment, regardlss of origin.

  • Most probably, that user was concerned with the already known issue with cold being capable of drainning batteries but as you so well stated the technology is advancing in leaps and bounds and the momentum in increasing so, given time, even that concern may very well be a soon forgotten issue.

But even if not, I’ll risk keeping the batteries a safe temperature could be solved by adding insulation to the space used to store the battery in the vehicle. In warm(er) weather, vents could allow for excessive heat to exhaust.

    Just a thought.
