I feel like Raspbian deserves a place on here somewhere, although I’m not sure where exactly. It’s the distro I’ve installed the most times since I like to do Raspberry Pi projects, and I imagine there’s quite a few people out there whose first major exposure to Linux was for the same reason. So maybe it should go near Welcome Bay?

Oh, yeah, I could see that being the way it was intended. It’s tough to convey the passage of time in pictures.

My pro tip for the dad and people wanting to be like the dad is to lead with the important information and then show the meme. Or even better, keep your partner in the loop regarding the stuff you’re doing as you’re doing it, at least when you’re doing this kind of stuff that is on multiple peoples’ radars. That way they don’t even start freaking out.

My wife and I planted one a couple years ago and I’ve been bummed that I haven’t seen a single caterpillar on it yet this year. It’s nice and big now compared to its first season when the monarch caterpillars absolutely demolished its leaves.
