I think the word is sarcastic
I see — As long as the democrats suffer, it justifies the actual genocide that will take place on account of their decision.
It’s good to see the left punishing people who agree with them on 50% of things over people who agree with them on 0% of things. That is a recipe for success. Go team.
There they are!
You say I deserve Trump… like I’m the one suffering here. Question: do you honestly think Joe Biden would have permitted the removal of all Palestinians from Gaza? Would that even be a conversation right now? How about turning Gaza into a real estate opportunity for the sitting president?
I’m not the one suffering the brunt of consequences for your decision to elect Trump over Biden, it’s the Palestinian people who are. All of you made a choice based on principles that you don’t have the political power to support, and the result is one that is far worse for the actual people affected. That makes the choice morally inferior. And, it’s a shame to see what is happening to the people impacted by it.
So you’re saying the current president is supporting Genocide? It’s weird, I don’t hear anyone on the left yelling about it. It’s almost like they don’t actually care.
Well, at least Joe is out of power, now. Phew! Crisis averted.

Where is the “I won’t support Genocide Joe” crowd now?
I hate to say I told you so, but 7 months ago people like me were saying:
I’ve been saying this. Netanyahu is going to keep the war going until after the election, hoping the bad press drains support from the democratic candidate. Netanyahu would rather see Trump in office anyway. If you’re still blaming the war going on in Gaza on the democrats, just wait until Trump gets in office and gives his support for the total and permanent occupation of Gaza. You’re behaving just as Netanyahu wants you to by not voting for the democrat in November
We had a brief respite from 2021 to 2022
Mods on c/politicalmemes took down a post I made saying that it was not a meme (spam was what they called it, it was not spam). When I pointed out that very few of the posts in that community are memes, they banned me.
Anyway, be careful out there.
Edit: “report abuse” was the reason they gave for banning me. But, it was me reporting a few things that were not memes, like was done to my post. Rather than evaluating whether the reported posts were memes or not, they went on a power trip. Anyway, no idea why the mods of c/politicalmemes follow me around Lemmy. I didn’t even tag them here, and they show up. Powertripping, I guess. But, my point stands, don’t report things for not being memes, only the mod decides what’s a meme, even if they do a poor job at it. And, if you draw attention to that, they’ll ban you and stalk you on Lemmy.
I keep my hands on my laptop and use my thumb on the track pad. My hands don’t leave the keyboard. I actually never use extra mice or extra keyboards.
That’s exactly what Putin wants. He wants the US to behave as he does so that he can say, “see? The US is no better than me.”
My professor was always trying to get us to use vim or eMacs over an IDE to write our C programs. I’m sorry, I like using a mouse. I know, I know, blasphemy. I’m taking a shortcut. I’m a noob.
When I absolutely have to, I go for vim, mostly because I know a few of the key bindings for it, but otherwise avoid it.
They’re mostly all national security threats, especially with Elon and Putin having a special relationship.
It’s like squid game where they identify you by a number. Long live user4616250
Doing as Putin tells him. Despite being the most powerful country in the world, Trump wants to ruin that by destroying the alliances that make it possible.
So much for habeas corpus
The problem is the people who use the library don’t have access to the money. They’re just some dev trying to build something and your library is one of their 500 dependencies. The idea of needing to pay for a license means they have to stop building and get other people involved who may or may not approve, which may not be an option if they have a deadline. They will probably just try to find some work around to avoid this.
I wonder if a better approach is to move hundreds of libraries into some kind of joint bundle (a humble bundle). Let companies buy access to them all with one procurement, and also you’ll have more negotiating power and pull if you have a bigger group.
