1·2 days agoHumans can’t check their work though? That’s the issue. Science is the process of checking the work. AI just assumes that you’re getting the correct version with no future checking. Think Fermilab or Cern.
Do you apply this same logic to the “experts” that you talk to?
Yes, I do. Especially that they can have their shit peer reviewed outside of academia.

5·2 days agoOatmeal is kind of like the bread of the plate, not weird at all. You can buy apple and brown sugar sausages.
Yeah, if you pay, you’re right. But how often would you say the newer models are incorrect? Even if it’s 1%, that still hold true that you can’t check them.
And as anyone that has used AI will tell you, it is incorrect 50 percent of the time. If you can’t check it, how can you trust it.
Thank you for that, I will save it for the future. I couldn’t find how to do it again.

Instead, the government would provide vouchers for poor people to rent housing on the private market. He used the failure created by decades of deliberate underfunding to justify privatization, creating a system that would funnel money from government into the hands of private property owners. This perfectly aligned with his core belief: Let the market sort everything out, even basic human needs.
Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, and Brian Mulroney all brought variations of this same script to their democracies. They shared an approach: slash public housing, stigmatize those who needed it, and force them to fend for themselves either by competing for scarce and deteriorating public housing or in a private market increasingly out of reach. All three leaders were doing more than promoting economic efficiency; they were engineering who mattered and who didn’t.
