He claims he was then strip-searched, forced to give blood samples, a facial scan and fingerprints.
“Later I was taken back in, and the situation got even worse. I was pushed up against a wall and was strip-searched with a lot of force. They were incredibly harsh and used physical force the whole time,” he claimed.
keep the mudguards, ditch the crap:
Raleigh is leaning heavily into connectivity with the Raleigh ONE. Once registered through the app, users can enable auto-unlocking, journey tracking, alarm features, GPS location, and theft alerts. The system supports wireless updates, and security functions are controlled via handlebar buttons or the app itself.
Joining a growing trend among some connected e-bikes in 2025, the Raleigh ONE introduces a membership model to use some of its more desirable features such as sharing digital unlock access.
this solves the problem of getting away from AI, to a service that has no plans to integrate AI. this is not about centralization/decentralization, it is about AI.
TIL 2fa & captcha are complex. signal install is not that complex, cmon now. they also offers the qr code scan, like delta chat, and the ‘invite friends’ link.
this is super sweet <3 nice color on that shell!
yep! they call them glyphs.
“Under the transparent pillowed glass is Nothing’s Glyph lighting array. Unfairly dismissed as a gimmick around the time of the Nothing Phone 1’s launch, the Glyph lights do serve a purpose, and for the Nothing Phone 2, even more features have been added. By splitting the light bars into different sections, Nothing has been able to expand the functionality. For example, one of the Glyph bars acts as a visual timer, not only for the timer feature on your phone but also with apps like Uber to show the estimated arrival of your ride.”
whoa! thanks for sharing this!
i’d love to have a signal jammer

i like the way you live life :)
great answer! would love to read that study, if you don’t mind sharing.
please let me know what other questions i shouldn’t ask the internet. i’m new to the internet so it would be great if someone can tell me what i should/shouldn’t do.
what is that? i’m new to earth so please help me understand.
keep fighting the good fight. it’s worth it.
i’ve had more friends ask me about lemmy and peertube bc of stuff i share, which is good because that means they’re noticing. no one in my friend group is “into privacy”, but sometimes i like to ask them questions like “what will it take for you to switch from (big tech service) to something else?” & let the discussion flow from there.
since they aren’t “into privacy”, they’re not aware of how their habits feed the big tech beast, which in turn feeds all these terrible agendas. an example is how they’re against the ICE raids and say things like ACAB, yet they use Ring cameras.
recently, i’ve had a few friends ask me for alternatives to (big tech service), and one of them even asking for help degoogling!
it definitely gets hard when you feel like your advocacy has fallen on deaf ears or whatever, but all we can do is lead by example. stay the course <3
oh no! i guess i glossed over that part. ugh, that’s so unfortunate!
chain-L is the BEST!!! yeah it may seem expensive for +$10, but it lasts for ages! am still on my first bottle from the mid-00s. every season i help a friends clean their drivetrains, it gets used. it’s the only chain lube i ever recommend.
in case anyone wants to explore flock camera locations in their area:
