I suggest that your wife changes to titles in English. It will improve her comprehension as she can match the dialog to the text. I know it’s distracting but it will improve her ability to follow English conversations in different accents.
French press. Pre-heat with boiling water before adding freshly ground coffee. Slowly pour water at 95 degrees over the coffee. Stir with wooden spoon, insert lid and let stand 5-10 minutes. Slowly press plunger to bottom. Serve and enjoy.
18C . We live in a condo building that is well insulated so setting it any lower wouldn’t help. I agree, it’s preferable to sleep when it’s cooler. 24C in winter is insane - if you’re cold just put on a jersey or a fleece.

Since communities (aka subreddits) are hosted on different servers (instances) I thought I would need a separate account on each instance to be able to post them (kept getting “not logged in” message).
Once I actually read the instructions everything was good. One account (choose the instance you want) and then use search … but you must enter the remote instance url exactly as written… no wildcats or anything.

My parents were British and they used to have two washing bowls. Pile the dirty dishes into one and fill with warm water and dish soap. Clean water in the second bowl for rinsing. After a while the second bowl builds up residual soap so it needs to be emptied and refilled. I figure I use the same amount of water rinsing under a running faucet. But the soak thing is a great tip - leaving dishes in water to soak makes cleaning them so much easier.
