It’s all for show. You can tell because that’s the mayor of NYC right behind him.
It’s all for show. You can tell because that’s the mayor of NYC right behind him.
That sounds completely reasonable, until you realize the mayor of NYC was there right behind him. That one little detail blows up the whole story and makes you realize that it was just a photo op.
I want to crowd fund a big bronze statue like this. Except Luigi is St. Michael and Thompson is Satan.
I’d pitch in for it.
See, it’s not for publicity! Eric Adams is there to stop the public from freeing Luigi from law enforcement!
Lmao at the guy repelling “hut hut hut hut”
Trump’s obsession with Hannibal is a thousand times funnier when you realize it’s because he doesn’t know the difference being political asylum and a mental asylum.
When asked, that’s probably what the police would say as justification. And it sounds almost plausible, until you realize that’s the mayor behind him.
I’m currently reading Danny Coughlin’s Bad Dream which is a short story by Stephen King about an innocent person accused of a crime. He had a similar line about “whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?”
Holy shit now that you mention it, homeboy is massive.
The black man that volunteered for that must have a death wish. He had to have gone into that thinking there was a very good chance the police would shoot him on sight.
Yeah that’s the problem with people in leadership roles. They should know better than to think complex problems have easy solutions.
Unfortunately, a lot of the voting public gravitate towards the leaders that assure them there are easy answers. The average person doesn’t want to hear a nuanced answer to a complex issue.
If you remember the time, Trump was pushing for any narrative that could let him say COVID wasn’t a big deal and would just disappear. He was looking for easy answers.
Jesus Christ, 659,041 kids had heart attacks in 2019!?! Or are you citing statistics that aren’t relevant to what’s being discussed in this thread?
Lol imagine thinking that aikido training means your brain doesn’t need oxygen.
There are very few good use cases for AI, but sales people continue to peddle it for fucking everything.
Yesterday I was driving and my Android Auto asked if I wanted to enable AI to summarize my text messages. In what world is that a good idea? Text messages are already short. Why would I need a computer trying to make it shorter and potentially fucking up all the context?
I played hookie a few weeks ago and went down to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on a random Tuesday. It was glorious.
Later my middle schooler was looking through Google Photos and went “wait, you and Mom went to the zoo without us?!” Mwahahaha. Get rekt kid.
“Journalists look for heroes and villains; life is not that simple. Why is the killer getting 10 times as much press as the person who was killed?”
I agree with the last part of this quote, but probably not in the same way they wanted.
Why aren’t we hearing more about the policies the CEO supported that caused so much pain and suffering?
Why did I have to learn about them having double the industry-standard claims denial rate through a meme and not through news articles everywhere?
Why am I not seeing more articles about how much money these people made by denying coverage? Why am I not seeing articles about their political contributions to keep healthcare privatized?
Well, corporate America is made up of hardworking Americans who do their best to reward the investors, and many times those investors are pension funds
Ah yes, every day I wake up to go to work just to do my best to reward the investors. Not because I need to pay for living expenses, just because I love pleasing the investors.
JFC these people are living in a fantasy world.
That’s track 4
