Are some of them redundant containers? That’s just a lot of services to be running.

I’ve tried to watch it twice and I feel like I just am missing something about it. May be too random for me.
Is “coercion pornography” rape or rape play? I assume you mean that once pornography is illegal well get the same results as the war on drugs; things that would generally be innocuous becoming tied to criminal activity.
Another thing about the tax is that there is a cap on the amount you pay into it https://money.usnews.com/money/retirement/social-security/articles/what-is-the-social-security-tax-limit. Meaning it’s a regressive tax where lower income people pay more than wealthy people (not to mention that many wealthy people may not have traditional income and pay no taxes for this).
It’s like a game of tag, once an item is exchanged you best start running home!
Thanks, had no idea they made a movie from the album.
What movie or show is this from?
I thing that’s the issue, there is no way that the kids-for-cash judge did not cause harm to thousands of children. While he may not have used violence, he certainly caused it and harmed literal children.
We as a society need to really think more critically about what counts as violent crime. Ordering some to juvi/prison for money is violent in my books.
One of the people he pardoned was a judge responsible for the cash-for-kids scandal. A judge who took money to send kids to for profit prisons. I just can’t fathom that they’re someone deserving of a pardon.
I honestly found it refreshing and approachable compared to “Bethesda” like games. It played a bit more like KOTOR with a spread of worlds/biomes to explore in a more tailored and purposeful manner.
Sometimes the fully open world games end up feeling too barren and shallow. But that’s also what I liked about the first Rage and that was generally panned too :(
Effectively a stacked bar chart/area chart, but with “pizzaz” that makes it less readable.
I think if you sat people down and showed them how much they pay for health insurance, showed what they got out of their medical insurance, and the actual cost of those procedures, that very few people would rate it highly.
For a system like capitalism that prides itself on market forces, no one has a clue about how and why insurance operates the way it does.
I get social security not being taxes (as its literally the federal gov giving money and then taking some back), but why wouldn’t tips be taxed if they’re just additional wages?
Like what is the logical arguement, and if they weren’t why wouldn’t I ask for all wages just be “tipped” to me?
I mean, he’s the president elect. If you look at the following sentences he thinks energy and supply chain will fix the problem.
The issue is neither of those is going to come down enough to lower prices, and even more poignant is that he is not proposing any plan or strategy to enable those to fix pricing.
Inflation and grocery prices aren’t new issues and if he doesn’t have a plan now he isn’t going to come up with one (lest we be reminded how his Healthcare plans have evolved over 8+ years).
Im surprised to see this pop up multiple times. If my device more or less is still plugged in with wireless chargers (as it can’t really be “off” the pad) it’s really not that impressive to me. Not to mention we’ve been pumping power through the air since the first radio.
If my device could charge anywhere within a certain radius (feet/meters), that would be impressive.
Yeah the issue with predictions around things like autonomous vehicles is it assumes tech advancements will flow in one direction/domain. There are still serious limitations of current AI systems in regards to autonomous vehicles and the next breakthrough may not be one relevant to that domain.
Its certainly possible, but we’ve basically been on the current autonomous vehicle hype for about 10 years already.
That page says 05/2020 launch date, so I think it’s an old tech sheet. Can’t find the tech specs for the mini that’s being announced myself, but didn’t try that hard.
The only caveat would be is if they were going to hoard that money anyways it might not make it into anyones hands.
“Trickle” would definitely be the key word though.
I had no idea it had some basis in mormanism, but I also really wanted a sequel to it. It ended on such an interesting cliff hangar and with Orson Scott Card it seemed like the plot would actually go somewhere.
Yeah, I hear it varys from person to person.
