Premium Lite is already a thing.
But why does that mean I should tip?

I did not say anything about blind consumer loyalty, so that comment feels strange in the context of this conversation.
Why? We don’t know anything about this guy. Maybe he was dumped because he was cheating on her, or abusing her, maybe he was kicked out because he hadn’t paid rent in six months.

If a company shows no respect for its consumers by nickel and diming them for everything, then there is no reason to show a company respect by purchasing its products.
Sure, but there is a difference between not giving them money, and not giving them money but getting their product anyway.
“I don’t like your product or practices, so I’m not going to purchase it” is not the same as “I like your product but not your practices, so I’m going to pirate it.”
Video games are not exactly a vital good like food.
Welcome to Lemmy! Unfortunately I can’t be of help, but if you’ll indulge me, I’m curious why you got “fed up” with using Tailscale.

The data that they have been looking at is in the original report, linked in the article, to some great detail.

I kinda just found it rather vapid overall. It was strange for the sake of being strange. It didn’t have enough good aspects to make up for the parts I didn’t like overall. I ended up giving it a 1.25/5. I think overall that “cosmic horror” might just not be for me.
My partner and I read the same books at the same times. We take turns picking the books. What we pick largely comes down to whatever we’re vibing at the time.

That’s not what business is inherently; that’s what capitalism is.

Man, I really loved the Demon Souls Remaster. It was absolutely gorgeous.
All My Love by London Grammar. Retrograde by James Blake.

Pen & Paper, or Paper & Pencil I would wager.

There was just an article about Godot being swamped by AI vibe code so I don’t know if I’d hold my breath.

I switched to Gamers Nexus a few years ago and really liked the format versus what I was mostly watching at the time, which was largely but not only LTT.
I have pretty much entirely stopped watching Gamers Nexus now though. Even if I agree with a lot of what he says, the way in which he says it has gone from cathartic to too much. I’m not entirely sure when, but it’s past the point of enjoyment for me.

Even still, having this on your CV doesn’t look great.

Oh man the steamdb chart for this game is brutal.
I was massively underwhelmed by this trailer at the Game Awards, but that’s not particularly surprising to me because I’m personally not a fan of hero shooters, or frankly even PvP in general these days.
But it still hurts to see something like this. As a very creative person, it would crush my soul to work hard on something that got memed so hard to death. And of course, it affects their livelihoods as well.

The setup I have does require a domain name, yes. I DNS challenge through cloudflare at the moment to get a wildcard cert for *.domain.tld and use that for my local services, including my modem, to serve with https.
Especially in Europe.
