Anyone else having trouble subscribing to communities?

yes and no.

it got better .

however i still do not have a com on lemmy.world in the subscribed list. search finds it but does not give the instance and the app shows it as it was weeks ago.

excuse me but jerboa crashing after each “send” is hardly “fine”, not even “largely working”.

why has the release not been synchronized? as i understand it this required server upgrade is not even available now?

first everybody said get the upgrade, it will fix this or that problem. now you are told to downgrade again …

also, quoting/ pasting is messed up, filtering still does not stay as set and so on.

yes, work in progress but this way you will not be able to offer an alternative for those who will soon leave reddit because their app no longer works.
