a little funny since the freeze lifted due to the sheer number of new versions all appearing at once, but nothing is breaking. typical post-freeze hiccups - they subside quickly, nothing has gotten in the way of being productive, and im used to it after 23 years of running Sid.

sounds like it may be a wonky dns server. if youre interested, try re-enabling ipv6 but use something like cloudflare’s dns in lieu of your ISP’s

look into PS Remote Play. i play my PS5 on a chromebook wherever i am at home to not wake the baby. the official app is fine, but the unofficial client Chiaki has linux/android/windows clients and has better performance and options. latency is as low as anything else on your LAN

im running debian sid on a surface go (1), stock kernel. everything except the cameras work perfectly (use the surface-linux kernel if you want the cameras to work). love this little device, my daily driver.
