Yep. Just don’t connect it. Or connect it once a year to get some firmware updates if one wants (or better yet use a USB stick).
I have a good Samsung TV, but when I had it connected to the internet the UI would be painfully slow every time I needed to switch inputs (I have most things running through my receiver, but my PC was straight into the TV). Turning off all internet functions vastly improved my experience with this TV.

I love this game. Spent enough time with it to get the Platinum. I still listen to the soundtrack, and a couple of tracks get me teared up because they are really beautiful and remind me of events in the game and how they made me feel.
Definitely my GOTY from 2025 over some of the other games that were nominated.

No and a little.
I get paid well, I work from home, and we take every other Friday off because we can. But the work itself isn’t groundbreaking, though I don’t hate it or anything.

Right? Weren’t they making some AI podcast or something as well?
None of that sounded good.
I have 100% called in sick from another state just as my friends and I were about to get on a gondola to go up to the top of a mountain.
I was on the phone saying I felt terrible when “NEXT CAR ARRIVING” or something similar blared over a loudspeaker.
“What was that?” they asked. “Oh, just the tv. fake cough”

I have a shortcut on my phone that every time I type a question mark followed by an exclamation mark it changes to the ‘bang. It’s fun.

Damn if the data centers get blown up how will I make shitty pictures of dogs wearing hats?

So I ran into my first genAI coding junk yesterday when I was on a call with my boss and as a solution to a problem we were talking he said, “hold on let me ask Gemini.”
I felt my soul die a little bit at that point.
But the fun part is that Gemini first didn’t provide a good answer.
And then on the second go it also didn’t provide a good answer.
And then on the third attempt we decided to table the issue for the moment because prompt coding on a call was taking longer than I think he expected.
I really disliked that experience.

Unfortunately I don’t believe the current FBI as far as I can throw them.

Tell me more about this…puff puff

You’re welcome.
And I agree: demos are so few and far between it’s hard to even think about them.

I’m actually curious if any of the reviews talked about the kind of atrocious pop-in this game has - at least in the main castle town you start out in in the demo.
I’m not a “graphics above everything” kinda guy, but when walking through that town you see all kinds of characters pop in at such a short distance it’s jarring - as if it was a 3D Pokemon game (not you, Pokopia, you are perfect).
I tried the demo first on my Switch 2 and saw this behavior. I assumed maybe they had to scale the game back some for the console. But then tried it on PS5 and it was the same.

There is a demo if you are unaware to get a feel for how it plays.

Bye bitch.
You talkin’ 'bout Blewskee?
