I hear you. Still love gaming but relationship with it has evolved as I got older. Too many responsibilities to have all day game days anymore. When I have an hour or two I feel like it’s not enough to really enjoy my time and half the time I don’t even bother to start. Speaking of bootlickers, the last couple of days I’ve seen endless posts from “users” saying no one actually cares, protests failed, protesters are just trying to defend the profits of third party apps etc. Smells of copypasta and astroturfing.
Not sure if it would fit your use case, but have you looked into using Tailscale to access your self hosted services? My ISP uses shared public IPs as well and that’s what I use.
