Yeah which ports are folks actually missing here? Looking at various ports.
Magsafe: This has returned on the new machines. I like it for the green / orange charge indicator. RJ-45: Ok I kinda of get it, but it’s such a tall port. Personally I’d prefer a thinner laptop in this instance. Mini DVI: long dead. Replaced with HDMI. The MacBook pro’s have HDMI FireWire: long dead USB A: Replaced with USB-C. Ok one A port here would still be useful. Headphone / Mic: Still there, just as a combo port on the other side. SD card reader: The MacBook Pros have this. Mini Display port: Long dead. Replaced with DP over USB C
In short if you want HDMI and SD card reader and are anti dongle you get a MBP which has both.
Either way now have ports that can push insane bandwidth and route USB, PCI, HDMI and DP over the same cable which is incredibly versatile.
It’s why plane doors open inwards before they open outwards. The air pressure means the door cannot possibly open inwards when at altitude.
Pretty sure the scary warnings in big bold text are more recent than this report.
Even if it doesn’t cost more to make it locally you can just hike your prices anyway if your only competitors have tariffs applied.
13·1 month agoYup. Investors have convinced themselves that this time AI development is going to grow exponentially. The breathless fantasies they’ve concocted for themselves require it. They’re going to be disappointed.
I doubt they’ll ever come to Europe. They don’t meet even the most basic crash safety standards. These things are designed to annihilate pedestrians, not to try to reduce harm.

Also be prepared have your photograph taken and to be ‘ten printed’. Which means fingerprints for all 10 digits will be taken. Usually right 4 fingers in one time then the thumb then repeated for the other hand.
You must have documentation showing your onward travel from the USA. Strongly recommend printing this out rather than relying on your phone. Wifi is usually crap at customs if it’s available at all.
Make sure you have an ESTA (or a full visa) sorted out before travel or you will not be able to board the plane.
One other tip. Get an e-sim from someone like Nomad or Airalo. Then you can use that for data. Getting a sim in America never seems to be as simple as it should be.

The priority is different to a roundabout. A four way stop is ‘person who arrived at their stop line first goes first’. If two arrive at the same time the person on the right has priority.
They still can. Whether premium or ad supported views pays more depends on the channel and the value of the adverts that are streamed on it. For channels / topics that advertisers are keen to appear on the ad supported views pay more, for more niche interests the premium views pay more.

Yeah I just watched Skill Up’s video and then was surprised to see so many positive reviews on this roundup. What gives? Are folks so keen for more Dragon Age that they turn a blind eye to such deficiencies? Or is it just a difference of opinion.
It needs to be way way better than ‘better than average’ if it’s ever going to be accepted by regulators and the public. Without better sensors I don’t believe it will ever make it. Waymo had the right idea here if you ask me.
If anyone was somehow still thinking RoboTaxi is ever going to be a thing. Then no, it’s not, because of reasons like this.
I’ve never understood that about America. How can you leave the dealership without a license plate. In the UK if you don’t have a plate you’re not on the road.
