Does this guy not know of a handbrake?
Works really well in my automatic car.
I’ve literally never had any issues. But there are enough other brginnerfriendly distros out there :)
Running my small business on Manjaro Linux for 5 years now and wouldn’t change back to Windows ever.
I’m using a cloud based customer database with implemented billing - I’m using Libre office for all my office needs and Canva, Inkscape and Gimp for any graphics I could need. Installing printers and other hardware is a breeze.
Manjaro is a rolling release with very few problems. I can highly recommend it.
We’re running a 6 year old selfbuilt gaming rig on Garuda Linux … Runs like a charm. Husband is playing Warthunder which uses Anti-Cheat - so far everything runs out of the box.
Why not now?
Good thing that not one OS is Windows in our household and workshop.
There is literally no advantage in using Windows anymore for us.
I’m in Act 3 and there’s tons to do.
I’m also already planning a second run since I’ve missed so much in Act 1 and 2… although I’ve already played for 105 hours.
This game is insane when it comes to detail!
Baldurs Gate 3 turned into an addiction.
First they manipulate their algorithms so that small businesses lose almost all visibility… Except when buying ads.
Now this?
Does that actually mean businesses won’t even reach their potential customers with paid ads anymore?
Our last windows System bluescreened on us for good…
We’ ve now setup our gaming rig with Garuda Linux and Proton and couldn’t be happier!
Baldurs Gate 3 runs flawlessly on highest details. It. Is. Great.
Gold.
The fact alone that it goes on for 5 pages!! Dudes could have used the time training lol

Not true. Germany was divided into two countries by the allied forces and Russia after WWII…
Knitting. Only handdyed yarns, which are costly. And of course you need ALL colours. And only the most luscious fibres and yarns.
I’ve resorted to dyeing yarn myself - which opened up another deep, deep rabbit hole.
And a business.
True. But not possible for everyone. Hence the millions of therapists out there being busy .
That’s cool. Don’t get me wrong: I’ve had not one but two very mediocre experiences with Chinese glasses… One being a titanflex frame for a very good price… but I’ve had a Silhouette Titanflex frame before and the quality of the Silhouette frame was noticeably better. The Chinese Titanflex model lasted me 18 months, the Silhouette Frame 5 years!
The second Chinese frame was kind of a Ray Ban Dupe and well… It did the job but that’s really about it.
I’m coming from a hearing care professional background that also worked with an optician so I learned my share of how to take care of my glasses and how to customize them for myself.
But I don’t want to do it myself abymoreif I can get the service for free just around the corner ;) (I’m not working in the field anymore)
As for production: there’s some German companies who actually are manufacturing in Germany and Europe. So I’m pretty sure my glasses aren’t made in China. The frame I’m wearing is also made in Germany. And my current glasses aren’t even that expensive… I’ve had way more expensive glasses in the past.
I’ve had two pair of glasses from China… and I have to say: never ever again.
I’ve only bought them because money was tight back then… the quality was ok for what I paid but that’s about it.
I like my optician around the corner that’s been there for over 35 years. :) They have glasses priced from around 180€ up to what you’re willing to pay. 😂
I get all the service I need for free there - if something small is broken they fix it immediately and give your glasses a deep clean…
If my money lets me I will always choose to support small businesses.
This one here is promising!
Why doesn’t this surprise me.
And here we are in Germany trying our best to stop fascism, millions of people on the streets.
