“Rules for thee, writing the rules to control you while snorting stumulants for me” 😌
Only one of my three computers was having this problem, but this solution worked for me as well. Thanks for sharing it here!
I heard a factoid about that on the NPR News Hour this morning, but I missed the exact qualifications, so I found this article from Newsweek that gives much more precise info from the FBI and The Violence Protection Project:

It’s definitely rare, but has happened before.
And you just know they’re sending copies of all your poop data to China, too, for some reason. Probably something to do with “improving targeted advertising,” but we know better.
Florida here. Had a Bernie bumper sticker from the early days of his campaign til the end of Trump’s admin. Only ever incited two interactions, both were physical threats.
So, it probably wouldn’t go well.
The phrase “hurt people hurt people” immediately comes to mind, but I still have no idea what Streeter’s story was, even after reading way more than I would have liked to. But I think yours is an important question for people to be asking, if they ever hope to prevent abuse (as much as could ever be prevented, I guess).
Had my first big job interview in years just a few days ago. I was, at most, 50% mentally present in the moment, and the other 50% of my brain was dedicated to suppressing thoughts like this or being prepared to evoke a genuine sounding laugh so I could pass it off as a joke. Nailed the interview, though.
You’re stuck in the “defensive driving” mindset – You gotta go offensive to keep safe. The Chevy Stretch offers significantly greater total mass than even large trucks, and a lower center of gravity. Now you’ll be the one crossing the center line, striking fear into the hearts of the sensible!
Nice. Congrats! Similar take here – my fiancee and I recently found a vintage setting acquired from an estate sale, plus a stone of her choosing (Labradorite), at a local family-owned jeweler. We ended up with a much more substantial and unique piece, spent way less money, limited our involvement in a predatory trade, and we’re gonna put that savings toward a nice experience together.
So shit-faced he was piss-pantsed.
Nice! Would you mind sharing how you built up that texture in the foreground?
How fitting, that content no one wrote, goes on to be content no one reads.
Some of these GIF hosts can be pretty obtuse. I was able to get at this GIF by going to the embed page and clicking/tapping the “copy link” button. In this case, the only difference in the two URLs was the file extension.
Google “metal movie poster (title-of-movie-here)” and you’ll find a bunch of online stores that sell images printed on some kind of metal, often with a graphic border for “a distressed/vintage look.”
I’m fairly certain these are the result of some script that grabs popular images, adds the border, and creates the listing. Also, the border probably helps them evade some reverse-image-searches performed by the actual artists/copyright holders.
I used to live in an apartment where the guy across the hall from me made wine from all sorts of unconventional fruit. I brew beer, and we would trade sometimes. Several of his wines were really good, but the banana wine was the best one by far!
I’ve got three, ranging between 8 and nearly 10 years old, with the oldest one seeing exponentially more use than the others, and they all still work flawlessly. I tend to put hundreds of hours into a handful of games, but I don’t use them every day, if that helps quantify my usage a bit.
What a vile woman.
Ya gotta appreciate the guy’s perfectly executed Uno Reverse Card when she started winding up to throw her cup of coffee.
