I dunno man, I believe it’s true.

Fuck yes, that road has needed an improvement / speed limit reduction for a long time now, especially the stretch just south of Parmer where the speed limit is a very high 50 MPH (people will drive much faster than that). A bunch of apartments were built there in the past 5 years but the road wasn’t modified to offer a protected way to turn into/out of them across potentially 3-6 lanes of traffic.
As far as I’m concerned, RAGE is a modern game. It even looks and plays like a modern game, so it can’t really be retro.
To call it retro is like saying League of Legends is retro because it came out in 2009.
It’s worse than eating fast food everyday lol
Babe, let’s play Stardew Valley IRL like omg
Looks like most people didn’t care enough for VIII, huh?
What do you use as your controller? I got an Anbernic handheld now but I’ve always been curious/intrigued by just running them on a phone, I just never quite found any of the control methods quite satisfactory.
Weird, the K4’s latest bios supports Vermeer, but perhaps not the X3D CPUs? But if so, even a 5600 would be an acceptable and pretty cheap upgrade over a 2600.
Which mobo do you have? Most of them got bios updates to support Ryzen 5000, even old B350s and some A320s.
If that’s supposed to be a projected image, then it should be washed out af with the room being so lit up. The darkest colors should only be about as dark as the white wall behind it.
AFAIK they’re large chips though, and larger generally is more performance but also much more expensive to manufacture.
Wouldn’t adding a bunch of extra features to an ARM CPU make it become less power efficient and more like x86?
I’ve heard that ARM isn’t inherently more power efficient in some special way over x86, x86 has just been around so long and has had so many extra instructions added to it over the years, but that’s what allows it to do so much / be so performant. If you took an ARM CPU and did the same you’d have roughly the same performance/watt.
30 fl oz is A LOT of beverage, a normal sized energy drink is more like 8-16 fl oz, and usually has only 100-200 mg caffeine tops. I’ve noticed a lot of 300 mg drinks start to get phased out in favor of drinks that only have 120 mg, which is actually a pretty reasonable amount for an adult.
For instance, I’m about 190 lbs and I need close to 250 mg to adequately feel its effects for exercise, and there are studies that show this is an appropriate amount (mg/lb) for exercise benefits.
However, even though 30 fl oz with 390 mg is about in line with the smaller drinks for caffeine/volume, I think ideally they should just not offer such a large size drink.
Can the award be given out if you just commit suicide? I think it’s reserved for very special, unintentional deaths lol
How so? You just push the seat back and get out, it’ll be about as much of an issue as a normal (very cramped) seat.
One way around it is just to say “I’m from the US”. I know it’s not quite what you asked but based on what everyone else has said about why we’re simply “Americans” then I suggest this as an alternative. Also like they said, referring to yourself by state of residence works too, for instance “Texan” or “Californian” since they’re basically just as well known as the US itself at this point.
We don’t have sensors to directly sense a single magnetic field, but if you’ve played with magnets a lot, you can definitely “feel” how their forces work and develop kind of an intuitive physical sense.
Perhaps a good example/analogy of something we can feel and understand somewhat intuitively but actually do not scientifically understand is gravity. You can definitely feel its effects / force, even though you don’t have a specific gravitational field sensor in your body per say.
We have very good theories and formulas for calculating gravitational effects, but we still fundamentally do not understand what causes it.
Steam Deck is also only an 800p screen, so using DLSS/FSR will render the game even lower than that. Basically the upscaling just works better at higher resolutions since it has more data to use. And like you said, definitely better for farther viewing distances too.
Shaggy defense. It’s a real thing now: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaggy_defense
My favorite puzzle game of all time, but it’s not really Tetris.
