I use Sync because it was my favorite client for reddit but I’m definitely gonna hold out on paying until there is a sale or something. My usage of Lemmy is not that high at the moment.

Wouldn’t that also apply to any image content then (like comics, memes, infographics, etc)? It doesn’t stop it from being popular. The important thing is simply finding a site that allows your specific content and that doesn’t heavily compress it.

Since you are able to login to the Lemmy website, have you tried changing your password and then logging into an app?
Also I think account server is the site where you originally created your account. I created my account on lemmy.world so that’s what I use.
