Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why do people discuss movie or comic books logic?
2·2 days agoI think some of it is pointless but fiction can also be inspiring and thinking about it can help to turn the fiction into reality.

1·3 days agoAt least in Germany there are quite a few. Usually in the allergen free / sensitive skin section
I only read the first one and didn’t really like it. From what I remember (not much) it’s just full of “plot twists” where some smoking guy randomly appears and tell the protagonists “haha, I predicted you’d do this” and then “hah, I predicted you’d know that I’d predict your next move and you’d do something different!”.
I don’t know, I like the setup and the beginning but after a while it seemed silly to me.
Next they’ll allow the meat grinder or a shredder as execution method

Interesting idea
Doesn’t give me the nostalgia feeling and is also multi user by design.

8·20 days agoIn Germany you don’t need a loan. Housing could be expensive if you study far from home but otherwise it’s very cheap.
I miss my old 486 with DOS and Windows 3. No login, no updates, no subscriptions and collaboration only with actual physical friends coming over. New software from the computer market or pirated by sharing floppy discs on the schoolyard…
It’s a brilliant analysis of the state of comedy and that it’s now basically a tool for billionaires to uphold and propagate their agenda / world view and using Joe Rogan and his comedy space ship and podcast and circle as the vehicle

Lots of local MILFS where my ISP has its infrastructure.
