None of this is illegal as currently constituted, because the permit that was written does not require monitoring for the things the independent lab found.
No law is being broken. This may be terrible, but it’s legal.
I’m a genX dude, living in a genZ world. I love everyone. Be gay, be trans, be whatever. I love everyone until an individual proves they don’t deserve it. I don’t hate anyone based on groups, I hate people who are assholes.

I went to a “hot zone” in Africa in the middle of an epidemic because I truly wanted to help in any way that I could. I was making food for doctors, nurses, and patients. I had shots fired at me. The locals tried to kill me. They thought I was harvesting Black bodies to steal their melanin. I legitimately feared for my life, but I didn’t leave until the organization I was working for pulled us out. I would have stayed, but without funding there was nothing I could do.
None of it makes sense. If you read into the conspiracy theory, they think we’re using their melanin to make our dicks bigger. No, I’m not kidding. I never stole any melanin from a corpse (or at all). I was just there to make food for other humans. That’s my passion, I like to feed people.

It’s actually worse than that. They want the (highly contagious) corpses of ebola victims to be released to the families, so they can have a heckin’ proper (religious) funeral.

They’re mad that the facilities are not releasing the (highly contagious) bodies to the dead person’s family for “proper” burial. The facilities are instead following proper protocol, and burying the bodies safely. Some of them honestly believe that Ebola isn’t real, and is instead a scam by white westerners to steal Black bodies for nefarious purposes.
It’s literally just ignorance and paranoia. They’re attacking the very people who are helping them, because of a conspiracy theory and a lack of education.
I was in Sierra Leone during their outbreak in 2015 (I’m not a healthcare worker, but I was there to feed the healthcare workers), and we faced similar challenges. We had to cancel our mission because we were attacked so many times, and it wasn’t safe to be there.

Maybe they should stop setting the treatment centers on fire?

Poverty is also vital. Enticing poor teens with money for college, signing bonuses that are more money than they’ve ever seen in one place, and cheap/free healthcare is a strong motivation.

Seriously. I saw that it was a space for women, and since I’m not a woman I blocked the community so I don’t accidentally comment in a community where I’m not wanted. If the ladies need a space to vent, there’s nothing wrong with that.

Where I live, we don’t have trains, only buses. The last one is at 6:30pm. The first ones are ~6am. Honestly though, the only people taking the bus here are either too young to drive, or too old to drive. But our bars are open 24/7/365. If you don’t count the COVID lockdowns, my local bar has been open 24/7 every day since 1987.

Who benefits?
People who bought the right stocks. So basically, not you. I’m not trying to be mean, but if you’re asking this question, you’re clearly on the losing side of this move.

Duck liver puree (AKA pâté) fucking slaps though. And as long as you source the duck liver from an ethical place (not one that pumps food down their throats to fatten them up), it’s no more cruel than any other meat. I like to add shallots, black garlic, portobello mushrooms, and a bit of brandy, then chill it and serve it on some nice whole wheat toast. Salt and pepper to taste of course.
I personally only use wild ducks that I hunt myself (or ones that were hunted by friends/family). I’m allowed 6 a year, and I take full advantage if I can. If you can manage to take them in November, the livers are naturally fattier, but not quite on the level of farmed foie gras.
But other than that, meat puree sounds kinda bad.

I made some about a year ago, just for the nostalgia. It was so salty that I sincerely could not finish my plate. Two bites in, and that shit went in the trash. Normally if I have food I’m not gonna finish, I toss it to the pigs, or into the compost pile. But this was so bad I didn’t feel right feeding it to literal pigs. And with that much salt, it might never decompose.

The only place in the USA where you can still get a McPizza is the “Epic McD’s” in Orlando Florida.

I’m personally a huge fan of Werner, I order from them every month. I’ve got some of their jerky chew in my lip right now. They also sell some very interesting candies, like Chamoy gummy bears/worms/rings and some amazing salt water taffy. The Cucharitas (Mexican tamarind based candy) are absolutely delicious. They’re a small-ish family owned business, operating in Oregon since 1994. Takes about a week for shipping, but that’s not too bad.
If you’re looking for something really dry, People’s Choice Beef Jerky is the driest jerky I’ve ever had. Just make sure to order the “Old Fashioned” and not the “Classic” if you want the super dry stuff. Their Carne Seca is pretty good too, I like the limon con chile flavor. They also try out new flavors/products all the time, if you like variety. Right now, their Test Kitchen is selling a Nashville Hot flavor, and that stuff is damn good. They had a really nice Gochujang flavor, but it’s been sold out for weeks.

I eat at least 2 blood oranges a day, sometimes 5 or even 6. They taste so damn good, and they’re relatively cheap ($1.49/lb). I literally always have at least 4 pounds on hand, but I just restocked, so I’ve got 12 pounds at the moment. Sometimes, in the summer, I buy extra so I can juice them. Then I mix the juice with pomegranate juice, and pour the mix over ice in a kala namak rimmed glass. Vodka optional.

My mother-in-law is not long for this world. I’ve known this woman since I was 14. She took care of me when my own mother kicked me out for dating a Mexican girl (my now-wife). She opened her home to me. She made dinner for me more times than I can count (and taught me to cook). She bought my clothes through most of High School. She taught me to drive. She taught me how to use a bank account. She was there for me when my father died, and then she was there for me again when my mom died. She showed me what a good parent is like. She’s the kindest person I’ve ever known. I’ve never heard her say anything bad about anyone. This woman doesn’t have a hateful bone in her body. She has no evil in her heart. I’ve spent the past 37 years holding her up as a role model for my own life.
When my wife and I had an unplanned baby at age 19, she stepped up and helped any time we needed it. She never made us feel guilty. She never guilt tripped us. She gave us nothing but love, and help. If my own mom knew I had a half Mexican baby, she’d be furious. But my MiL never judged me for being white.
She even moved to a different state (NJ–>PA) with us when we decided to relocate to my realize my dream of buying a restaurant. She lives in a MiL suite above my garage, rent free. She still insists on cooking for the family sometimes. I’m at work right now, and she’s smoking some goat for our tacos tonight. I won’t get home for about 5.5hrs, and I bet she’s going to have my tacos ready when I walk in the door.
But age is age, we all get old, and eventually we die. That time is coming for her soon. She’ll be lucky to see another full year. I’m going to miss her terribly. I can (and do) dump ridiculous amounts of money into her care, and it’s worth it. But it isn’t going to be much longer until the doctors tell me there’s nothing they can do. I am dreading that day.
I can’t unload this on my wife, it wouldn’t be fair. She can see the writing on the wall. And she is going to be hurting much more than I am when push comes to shove. I’m going to be the “strong” one, and support her. But Jesus fucking Christ, I am going to miss my MiL so much.

Paragraph 1) It gets very hot here.
Paragraph 2) Even in the winter, we just turn the heat on.
Paragraph 3) I shit a lot.
In short, your teacher was an idiot.

“It’s Swedish for blue shark.”
It’s really not complicated.
There are a lot of people who destroy their bodies and shorten their lives for less than a multi-million dollar paycheck. I don’t blame the players, I blame the system that leads them to this end. A poor kid who is good at football can pull their entire family out of poverty by taking a few blows to the head. It’s not an individual’s fault for choosing that.
