5g can’t pinpoint shit cos it never has a stable connection 😂
They don’t need to microchip us, most people already carry around a phone everywhere 😅
And it’s also why they don’t release with unlocked bootloaders… It’s why there needs to be more regulation around the right to repair not only hardware but also software…
It’s because they’re actually lying about the criteria, its more like a wish list than actual requirements. In the interview just say oh I only know a little about criteria x but I’m keen to learn or whatever
Ghandi was partly successful because of the British governments violence towards thier peaceful protests.
I don’t think I’d even notice if a friend did that to me 😅
What does Stanley have to do with cups though? They mostly make screwdrivers and wrenches right?
I like MGS2 best because the weirdness isn’t reigned in as much but still more than the following games 😅
It made me think it was going to be about the open source router. Seems like an intentionally misleading title to generate more clicks…
They blew up some uncritical thoughts!
Or maybe he was rich, until his or his family’s medical claim got denied…
Agreed 😅 I was only refuting the sub point about knobs, as thats a pet peeve of mine 😅
Even for software there’s still equipment needed to host it, whether that be your own or rented from AWS or Azure etc. unless you’re looking to sell it as an on prem solution(but that’s not what most customers will be expecting in the current year so probably won’t sell very well). One way around that would be to only rent the hosting as needed once you have a paying customer.
Have you used a volume knob, an ipod, bmw idrive or its clones? Spin dials still are the peak of ergonomic design…
Removal of physical dials in cars is one really good example of progress in tech causing worse design for the sake of cost savings and aesthetics.
They tend to get out competed by companies with enough investment funds to undercut them without making a profit until they have a stranglehold on the market and can jack up prices.
It’s an inherent physical limitation of higher frequencies, they bounce around and off buildings more, and less off the atmosphere, so I guess they will have better tracking just from there needing to be more cell towers and fewer of them visible to your phone at any given time, I’m not convinced that’s the main motivation for switching off 3g towers though 😅, just a coincidental opportunity for the surveillance state.
