I read Molly is forked from Signal. Can I message Signal users from Molly, or do all parties need Molly?

It’s not too difficult to establish a Signal account from a burner number from a prepaid sim card. I currently have a Signal account tied to a sim not in my name. Getting a burner with cash is an option. Or, if you’re lucky enough to live near a payphone and can gain access to the number, you can activate a signal with a phone call.

I think the intent is baby steps for those who aren’t already privacy invested. Getting parents or tech illiterate to switch to Signal is a win. They weren’t hiding their number anyway.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’m looking like 73% compatibility with the deck, so I’d assume slightly higher for the computer. I mostly play single player anyways so I’m probably overall looking good.

Thank you for this inspiration. I’ve also been things about a switch to Mint but the only thing holding me back is my Steam library. I’m going to dig into it a little more and look at the compatibility of my games. It’s encouraging to hear others making the leap.

While I don’t think it’s likely as a way to trick people to connecting to get their phone number, it was a rental car which opened them up to impersonation scams. Knowing they just rented from the company and where in the city provides quite a bit of information on you.

Probably comes from a combination of belief in American exceptionalism, tradition, and either popular opinion remains with reciting the pledge or a lack desire to change.

Just started Spark of the Everflame because my wife read the three books in the series on Kindle Unlimited in a weekend. I’m up to chapter 8 and it’s fantasy with romance elements. It seems interesting. I’m trying to finish all three before starting something else cause my wife wants to talk about it.

I accidentally misread the instructions when I first heard of this and added 5ml of water for 25g of beans. The beans were chunkier after grinding but was the best cup of coffee I’ve ever made, definitely more delicious than dry grinding.
