My bad. I was thinking of Arctic research stations.

Does not committing atrocities against 30% of a nation, itself, constitute an atrocity though? When the consequences of not killing authoritarians and a critical mass of their supporters leads to them further entrenching and committing more atrocities than simply eradicating them, wasn’t a choice already made to be party to the atrocities through inaction?

The researchers have shotguns. I’d pay to watch the live feed.
What would you suggest we do that we aren’t doing? This is a serious question, too. If you’re from the EU or Canada then I’m genuinely curious because its been a common refrain among Canadians and Europeans that we aren’t doing “something” and yet no one wants to expand on what that something is.

The protests in Oregon and Minnesota show that we are still America despite the MAGA separatists attempt to destroy us. And although this current chapter sucks hardcore, we now see our neighbors and “friends” for what they really are.
The separatists really thought they could just steamroll us. But, it didn’t go according to plan. We also scare the whole cabinet enough that they are living on military bases because they literally fear for their lives.
MAGA is eating itself alive which is the only outcome of a movement based entirely on hatred and destruction. So, we are showing our resolve. That’s the undercurrent that shows we still have some good left in us.
MAGA separatists, yes. But, not “Americans”. I really wish Canadians and Europeans would quit lumping all of us together in one camp. You’d be surprised at how many of us want to be part of Europe (and have for quite some time).

The security officer must have been one-eyed.

Seconding ReVanced. RVX works like a charm. Not ready to leave the Google ecosystem just yet. But, when I do, I’ll switch to primarily using NewPipe.
I’m also keeping track of Haven as they may be an up and coming YT alternative for artists and creatives. They’re currently in seed funding so it’ll be interesting to see if they can get off the ground.
And the vastly underrated experience of being left the hell alone while you’re eating. None of this pretentious bullshit of having a server coming around every five minutes checking on you like you’re a toddler.

While a terminal solution, that’s not a real solution. I’ll agree replacing everything 1:1 isn’t the way we should go. But, we have the technology and infrastructure to enjoy having a mini-PC we can hold in our hand while also maintaining our privacy and avoiding enshitified applications.
It doesn’t have to be a zero-sum game.
To be fair, they want everyone but themselves personally to suffer and die.
I’m suspicious of damn near everyone and am still somehow liberal.
