Modded consoles are the best way to enjoy previous gen games. A CRT in real life, isn’t so espansive, check on facebook marketplace or similar.

Still no libretro?

Everyone have a good word for Valve as a publisher but it’s sad to see some of the most talented game designers in the history publishing their last good game 15 years ago.

I hope this will lower its price

Yeah in the boardgame community everyone know tcgs are predatory, at least there are usually communities for alternative formats.

I don’t know but most PS3 issues are related to the fat version, slim and superslim are suggested.

That’s one of the reasons on why I still collect PS3 retail games, they are cheap to buy (mostly) and in a durable format (bluray).

Great “interview” btw, here the official video link for better quality: https://youtu.be/02Ah5VQrzvA

I really like what the shaders community is doing but these setups-time and expensive retro-hardware makes my just wanna find the first crt I can in a random vintage market, more faithful and less expansive.

You have options, since you still need different consoles if you are really into videogames, but PS3 is the single most valuable in my opinion:

Yeah I’m also looking for a PS2 with network extension for the drive. But I firstly need to find a CRT, I’m tired to play with shaders to get a decent experience.

Fat model?

Snake Pass.

Qt version of cool GTK software: Nicotine+, Ardour (ahahah), Lutris, Cartridges
Qt software I would love to see graphically improved: QuodLibet, Falkon, Qbittorrent, KeePass
Others: PeerTube client, Syncthing client, Ardour+Kdenlive fusion (a good Video DAW is my wet dream), Lemmy for desktop

Prince is a genial performer and composer, in particular during the early 80s with the Minneapolis Sound: a unique style of New Wave based on Pop Funk Rock, and a precursor of explicit horny vibe after the first Glam Rock period. I like to compare Prince to Michael Jackson: where MJ is just a boring Disco Pop, Prince is the real king of Pop in the same period starting with the crazy Dirty Mind LP. In Purple Rain you can find the peak of a Minneapolis Sound with the Hard Rock influences.

Parlera? Not “recently updated” but it works
Still indie from Konami
