Not my kinda show, but I’d just take a sub to mgm for a month if I really liked the show. Otherwise it’s a trip to the torrent farm. Honestly I really have to want to see a show for it to be worth dealing with the bay. There’s just way too much for free, or already on a cheap stream, to keep me distracted.
I haven’t been able to watch broadcast TV in decades. The commercials were making me physically ill. Too much flash flash between them with sudden volume changes.
As for news, it’s easier and faster to read, plus I can deep dive on anything interesting. For everything else, there’s streaming or piracy.
It would take years for new mining to begin to come on line. No one takes that risk based on the short term of a single presidential term.
It’s always interesting to watch moments like this in history. There are thousands and thousands of them. Small bits of violence, happening at random, but really the same thing over and over. Most of the populace just ignoring it. Until one particular case, no different than any of the others, catches the attention of the masses. And suddenly the world changes in drastic, sometimes horrible, ways over night.
I agree, and also think a stupid stunt is a poor way to reach better wages. It’s just a way to placate the masses.
I do avoid most sales. They’re either a lie using a fake regular price, or a low quality product that didn’t sell, so they taking a loss to get rid of it. Either way, not worth my time. I shop for quality products that meet my needs when I need them, not when they’re on sale.
Doesn’t matter, the money is nothing to me, it’s simple principle. I also don’t use store cards or coupons.
I don’t like paying people just to do the job they’re already paid for, and I think it’s bad for society to promote it.
Well hell, wish I’d known this when they dropped off a bunch of flat pack desks. I’m not tipping the guy that just dropped off a kitchen spoon.
I’m sure this will just be a misunderstanding that will be cleared up in no time. Let me know when that happens.

Russia wouldn’t really matter in the equation. China, Brazil, Mexico, Canada would be the main players. They don’t like each other, and have some serious diplomatic issues of their own, but could easily agree to stand together in self interest. Pulling in any other major US trading partners would also help all of them.
What the US wants and what’s good for other countries are not the same things.
BRICS, Canada and Mexico should be making a trade treaty right now, before Trump even takes office.
They need a unified front against Trump’s trade war. Even if that means working with China.
Seems to be a multifactoral type of correlation. Poverty, race and population density all playing parts.
Time for that media to go as bankrupt as their principles.
It’s not much better in the North. Self segregation is alive and well, along with massive funding disparities in school districts.
There is never a path for the speaker of the house to become vice president. Either the President and Vice President are dead and he’s president, or he’s still just the speaker.
As others have pointed out, before or after the electoral count is completed, makes a minor difference. It would be interesting to watch it play out.
TV ad volume is an intentional problem. They went all out to stop auto volume controls from being put into TV’s.
