I should mention that I have a habit even outside of writing to overcomplicate things. I want to still write about my complex ideas, like the inner life and philosophy of an Eldritch god, but it definitely won’t help if I overcomplicate the language I’m using.

Recently I finally accepted that not everything I write is pure gold and that I’m allowed to rewrite or delete stuff. After all, it’s the idea being expressed in a paragraph that’s important to me, not the words and their layout.

I’m an indie author. Idk how common my experience is, but here goes.

I’ve self published one book, but I want to go back and make a 2nd edition, after I finish book 2. My primary goal in writing was to get anyone to enjoy it. I realized onky after publishing that accessibility is important, and I’ve adapted my writing style. How I realized was that my relative who have English as their second or third language couldn’t understand my writing.

The only people who managed to finish my book were all writers, I believe. In order to get through m book they needed to accept that sometimes my writing didn’t make sense to them, so they continued regardless.

Plenty of Americans STILL think their crumbs of democracy will save them from their own government.

What does pointing your anger at and blaming other voters accomplish? They did the right thing. Republicans want minorities dead and Democrats are holding them hostage. I’m glad Trump won. Now white Americans can feel a fraction of the suffering Palestinians are going through. That’ll make them care. That’ll make them fight.

This is a story I heard second hand. Have not verified it cause Iranian history gives me a headache.

After the revolution Khomeini started persecuting minorities and women, despite having promised not to.

Some trans woman kept going to his house and harassed him until he agreed to at least keep protections for trans people.

Iran is the odd one out of middle eastern countries where it thinks being gay is abhorrent but being trans means you’re defective and need the appropriate healthcare. Not that public healthcare in Iran is great. And people are still transphobic.

Voting for either Trump or Harris means genocide isn’t a dealbreaker for you. Republicans may be doing most of the harm to minorities, but that means the Democrats are holding them hostage.

This is my favorite pseudoscience to shit on. Fundamentally the big problem with it is that there are too many layers of conplexity between psychology and evolution. You can’t ignore genetics and neuroscience if you want to look at how psychology is affected, IF it’s even possible.

Again, using passive language as if Isn’trael is not responsible.
