Thing is that cuts both ways. Lots of us would be happy if certain politicians came to an “untimely end,” and just about as many would be pissed as hell. “Doing good” is too often up to the eye of the beholder.

When I first was researching scrcpy, I found a thread (probably under “issues” on the GitHub repository for scrcpy) where someone else requested the same. They then went on to create a prototype using Java that the author of scrcpy seemed impressed with, but that was as far as it went. The prototype was based on a very old version (1.x) of scrcpy, so I never bothered trying it. Might be usable for this purpose, however.
Ah, ty.
Yeah, I don’t think that will work out the way you imagine. They got there by being control freak assholes, so if you threaten them they’ll more likely just become even more ruthlessly violent in return so they can keep control - and they’ve got the money to buy all the weaponry they need to do so.
I can log into the account on a browser with no such restriction, so it’s not protecting much.
Rooting doesn’t automatically give root permissions to just any app that wants it - you still have to allow it.

If only that didn’t require a PC - like an Android version that could run on your tablet to copy your phone’s screen.
Google is working on replacing Assistant with their Gemini AI crap - would not be surprised if it no longer works there.
Your own link says only the judge saw them, nobody else, and they won’t be seen by anybody else until the case is over & nothing can be done to them. Never mind the info provided sounds like it’s not terribly useful.
Actually, the judge opened the sealed cover, perused the contents thoroughly, then asked WMF counsel “How can these addresses be verified?” to which the reply was “These are all we have, and the website does not conduct verification of its users”. The ANI counsel assisted his opponent by saying that service on the editors (D2-D4) is complete, they have not appeared, so can we please move on to my defamation takedowns. The judge then resealed the covers. So it can be safely inferred that WMF did not give ANI anything, and ANI never wanted the D2-D4 details at all, it was only a procedural formality so ANI can take on the “Wikimedia method/model” directly which is troubling all their SPAs/IPs. On a procedural note, once the case is complete and judgment given, the sealed covers are opened and anyone can inspect its contents. So nothing to fret over. Storm in a teacup.
Effectively not much, IMHO, but whatever - I think you got my gist.
That’s all well and good, but doesn’t address the point of the post in that it’s apparently insecure AF.
BE the change you wish to see in the world… /s 🙄
There are plenty of people who do just that (minus the clothing) everyday without killing anybody, and they don’t get anywhere near that level of recognition. The reaction here actually reflects a dark side of us all in that we wish we had the guts to take out such definitive retribution upon the wealthy - the ones that put most of us through the meat grinder to extract whatever value they can from us, and then just toss us aside when they’ve taken all they can, leaving us broke & hopeless.
While I don’t disagree in principle, you need to walk many miles in their shoes to see how they got to that point of anger and frustration. Maybe cut them some slack from the start by letting them vent, and them only give them some shit after you’ve demonstrated significant patience with them & they’re still being pissy. Sometimes people in those situations get tired of explaining and/or justifying themselves over and over, so they adopt an acerbic attitude just to push people away so as to avoid having to do it so much.
The world can be incredibly frustrating for those so disadvantaged, and some of them just don’t have the mental fortitude to stay positive through it all.
Well, if they each take one out, the cumulative effect would indeed be significant.
You obviously have no clue about how those difficulties also affect their mental state. Depression can be way more severe and debilitating than most people seem to realize, which is why it’s officially a distinct disability on its own.
Tomorrow never comes.
