The odds of someone attacking my tv via the internet are as close to zero that “never gonna happen” is just about right. If it did happen, it would be because they went via the server maintainer for the firmware to attack all the TVs, and if they did that then an updated firmware would just as likely be a culprit.

To be fair I don’t think much anyone but the parents care for the photos. The number of old photos and albums I see in antique stores and estate sales is staggering. I’m not saying nobody wants them at all, but generally unless you have something very interesting like Dad working on some important civic project or a snapshot of him in theater as a soldier, or Mom as Wendy the Welder or in a foreign country as Doctors Without Borders, most of the generic family shots of christmases and travel get filtered out into the trash.
Also, most all modern ink and paper is non-archival, so it won’t last.

Aw, man I played the heck out of F.E.A.R. It was a great scary game, and the online multiplayer with all the modded maps was great. Wish the 2142 servers were still up. There was an attempt by a group to get the game running without EA’s servers, I tried to get it running but it didn’t work for me.
Some of these countries can’t afford infrastructure at all. Even if your opinion is correct, do you think they’d prefer having no infrastructure vs having some that needs maintenance? Well, sure. China invests in many countries, improving infrastructure and the like, while also extracting resources. The US just pays a dictator who then skims even more off the top while beating up the citizens and forcing them to work hazardous resource extraction for little money.

If the “apocalypse” happens it would be more appropriate to be concerned with food growing and preservation and not USB devices (other than maybe flashlights or shortwave/Ham radio) or other electronics that have no real purpose.
As far as longer-term power outages go these power banks aren’t too bad, but you gotta consider the food situation again and keeping it safe to eat. A rotating set of banks and a good peltier cooler will help keeping some food cool, but not cold enough for long term. I’m sure you have water filters, chlorine tabs, etc. to keep drinking water safe.
