proxmox is pretty intuitive to use. You just have to make a lot of decisions to start with in regards to storage. I always go with one main drive with a partician for ZFS cache and at least two drives in the array for VMs that way if a drive fails everything is still good. Things get a little annoying if you’re trying to pass through hardware.

People underestimate how quickly Carbon Monoxide can overtake you and how little air there actually is indoors. I was helping someone with their car once time. It was winter and we were starting it to see if something was working. He kept starting it with the garage door closed and seemed annoyed when I would open the door to vent the exhaust. I’d rather be slightly cold than dead. Those people that use keorose or diesel heaters on their garages in the winter just sketches me out. I’m ready to ditch natural gas from my home altogether because I just don’t like the idea of it.
$3k + $1k in parts/maintenance is more accurate.

I have the sparkle brand intel low profile single slot in an hp sff PC and it barely fits and leaves about 3/8" space between the power supply. It has all the room in the world in the backside. One slot over is a 1x pcie slot if only hp had switched the two or the video card had straight through and out of the case cooling.
I’m excited, but I wish gpu manufacturers would jump on board with physically compatible cards with ffs or smaller form factor business machines. HP, Dell, et al like to limit space for traditional GPUs in those machines. If there was a half height mid/low grade gpu with components on the reverse side that would be a great couch gaming machine.
I was bouncin’ dat bumble 😏

Every month or so we have corporate, engineers, sales, customers, whoever come through the plant for a tour. Makes me feel like an oompa loompa.
