That bug is so small! Wouldn’t have expected it to be part of the diet at all.

3·3 months agoBeen taking turns with my SO playing Bore Blasters. It’s a vampire survivor like, I think, but the experience is smoother. It’s not something I’d have played for long on my own, since the constant rewards and positive feedback overwhelms my brain a bit, but taking turns it’s great fun.
Also started ship of fools and creatures of Ava, don’t mind either so far.
I keep wanting to replay Silksong but I should wait until the first DLC comes out…

1·4 months agoPausing Backpack Hero a bit and playing American Arcadia. It’s a short story-driven game with some puzzles. 2 hours in, so far really liking it. I don’t know what makes me invested in a character, but this game’s got it.
Otherwise it’s been a week of mostly board games, which is nice, since I mostly play video games by myself.
I feel like I’m developing some kind of reading disability lately; I read the title as
Can I filter Reddit feed posts from my feces?
Otherwise I second the other posts about blocking the bots you don’t want, worked well for me so far.

5·5 months agoPortal 2 with a friend, after a two-year long hiatus. Looks like we accidentally went to the last level after level 2, watched the ending cutscene, now we’re back to playing level 3 lol.
Backpack Hero is my current daily game. It’s a nice fun roguelite although I sometimes wish it was a little harder. Taking a break from Hades II for a while even though I am possibly one step away from finishing the main story.
Please do share your results later!
My SO is very into origami, so I was thinking about getting his help to make more patterns. It would be nice to see others explore the idea too.

7·8 months agoI have a qidi Q1 which I’m using to print ABS parts for a new Voron right now. It’s working very easily even on default settings, although I haven’t made anything big yet, and I don’t know if ASA is harder to print.
As much as I lobe the Prusa Core One I have at work, it doesn’t seem to be the best for ASA. I printed a few very large flat parts in ASA a while ago. Heating up the chamber takes forever, and warping / adhesion issues happen a lot on default settings, even with their own brand.

6·9 months agoAs long as you’re comfortable setting up the emulations, Steam Deck seems like a better choice then.

I got the OLED Deck this year to replace my Switch, and the first thing I noticed was that my hands are not quite big enough. I can’t reach the Y button with my thumb quickly, and I cannot comfortably put my index and middle fingers on the bumper and trigger buttons. I ended up mapping the bumpers to the back buttons and got used to pressing trigger with my index finger, but it took a while to get over my muscle memory.
Yes it did! Quite happy with how everything went, will probably try to do the same again next year
I did a super important presentation earlier today, I feel like I understand what they felt lol
I don’t know if it’s actually related, but I’ve read that asking people to draw a clock face is a simple way to identify some brain problems
Quick screening for dementia, according to this
Edit: I guess this means most of the AI has ‘Conceptual Deficits’, pretty accurate lol

3·9 months agoI think I’m doing the final fight of Silksong, although there are a few things I plan to go back to finish afterwards.
Just bought Hades 2 yesterday, but not sure when I’ll play it. After Silksong I’m probably going to play something less action heavy for a while.
I honestly thought she was yawning before I read the story
I’m mostly a lurker everywhere, in real life too… I like people but they make me nervous
That is amazing! Looks like those legs might be longer than the wings if we’re not looking at the feathers. They really have such tiny torsos compared to the rest of them. A huge part of that must be devoted to the respiratory system.
I like fish owls. I wanted the Buffy to win last year so much :) There was this photo of one with a huge fish in the beak that I loved. Looking at the skeleton now it feels like that fish was not much smaller than the owl.
Now that you mention it, I have seen something slightly similar in fish eyes, although those feel less like bone and more like cartilage.

Me! Although I have no idea whether I’d be okay with the price once it does arrive.
